No Pets.
We do accept L - O - N - G weekend rentals (3 night minimum) for the Fall.
OysterFest 2013 weekend (Oct 18 to 20) is B - O - O - K - E - D !
Area Information
Located 75 miles out into the Atlantic Ocean, Wellfleet offers quaint rural seaside charm and spectacular natural resources. The Atlantic Ocean is on Wellfleet's east shore; Cape Cod Bay is on the west shore. 61% of Wellfleet's land is in the Cape Cod National Seashore Park.
Bay and ocean beaches, fresh water ponds, (13 town beaches in all plus Marconi National Seashore beach!) Bike Trails including Cape Cod Rail Trail, Art Galleries, Restaurants, Antiques Dealers, Cape Cod’s biggest and best Flea Market (!) at the Wellfleet Drive-In and Multi-Screen Movie Theater (has 3D). New Town Pier has a Marina, Boat Launching Ramp and numerous boat slips. Also, Wind Surfing and Kayaking, Deep Sea Fishing Charters.
Gull Pond is a kayaker’s dream. Other non-motorized boats offered for rent on the pond are pedal boats (paddle boats), surf bikes, sea cycles, canoes, and Sunfish sailboats.

Beach walks are SO peaceful.
Go whale watching, bird watching (Atlantic Flyway - Wellfleet Bay - MA Audubon Society), antiquing -- pick your passion.

| Other Fees: Beach sticker required between 3rd weekend in June through Labor Day. Beach Parking Permit not required for Mayo Beach nor for the Marina. Beach fires permitted with beach fire permit. Obtain permit for clamming or oyster gathering at Beach Sticker office. (see Town Hall in the fall) You can use White Crest Beach by paying a daily fee instead of having a beach permit. Other Vacation Rental Amenities
"Great Island" offers great hiking experience. Kayaking and wind surfing are excellent off of the bay side beaches. Clam digging permits available. Permits available for an evening beach fire on one of the four ocean beaches. (Amazing at night!)
Wellfleet is full of history! Visit the Marconi Trans-Atlantic Radio Tower Site. Stand on the beach where the famous pirate Captain "Black Sam" Bellamy and his crew ran aground aboard their ship, "The Whydah". The wreck of "The Whydah" was discovered off Wellfleet's ocean side in 1984 by Barry Clifford. Take a short drive to visit the museum where pirate booty from "The Whydah" is on display.
Wellfleet is the home of the Cape Cod National Seashore Headquarters and the 1,000 acre Massachusetts Audubon Society Wild Life Sanctuary.
Also, check out the W.H.A.T (Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater) schedule for the spring and summer 2013 ! May thru November productions draw audiences from the Cape area and beyond. Stage plays, "Live from the Met" opera broadcasts and other cinema presentations are presented throughout the season. Beautiful new Julie Harris Theater on Rt. 6 in Wellfleet plus intimate Harbor Stage at Town Pier.
LINENS: Traveling light? There is an outstanding local linen service (delivery & pick up). Please ask when you book with us. Our tenants have been very pleased with the service. They can provide sheets & pillow cases, towels, bath mats, & beach towels.

Great Beach and Town Retreat

This is an ideal place for folk with family. With two young children, we found the walk to town convenient, the short drives to beach ideal, and the private setting pleasant and safe. Our kids loved the deck (as did we) and exploring in the beautiful woods right behind. Owners were wonderful to deal with throughout the process, clear and honest with details about the area and the place itself. The inside was spotless, the kitchen well-equipped, and the grill a major plus. The outdoor shower made beach clean-up easy.

Wellfleet is my favorite town on the Cape and this is a great home. Lots of space, pretty, clean, wonderful master bedroom, ping pong table downstairs:) walking distance from town. And owners very friendly and accomodating. Can't wait to stay there again.

Beautiful getaway!

We've stayed here three times now - twice in June and once in August. It's a very pretty home with a lovely separate master bedroom upstairs. Very well kept. Location is private and sweet. Walking distance to the town, biking distance to lakes and beaches, a lot to see in Wellfleet and surrounding towns. Plus big enough to avoid cabin fever!

We had a wonderful early august vacation. The house and location provided all that we needed for a great vacation. All ages, from 6 months and 3 years to adults were quite content. We had the best Lobster and steamed clam feast out on the deck one evening. Thanks again!

The house is quite roomy and the open living area was especially good for our large family. The fully-appointed kitchen is very convenient - it meant we were able prepare our own meals as much as we wanted & avoid eating out too much. Our kids enjoyed playing ping pong in the basement and looking at the stars at night from deck. My wife and I really like the quiet neighborhood - a *real* getaway. As for the location, its about perfect, just a short drive outside the center of Wellfleet - maybe a 5 or 10 minute walk -into town to get to shopping and the art galleries. This is the 2nd time we've been here & we'll be back I'm sure.

We all enjoyed our stay in your wonderful house. The layout of the rooms was what we needed. The 4 girls lived on the ground floor and my husband and I stayed upstairs. We went to the beaches, ponds and to Provincetown. We did canoeing, whale watching and walks through the dunes. And, we went to nice places to have dinner in Wellfleet. We want to come back.
