Description of the Wellfleet vacation home rental

This summer is the first time that we have ever rented our family home. It is a perfect place to come with your family and friends and just unwind. The bay is less than a 10 minute walk to the most amazing sunset you will ever see in Wellfleet. The beaches are less than 2 miles from the house and if you don't feel like going anywhere you can cool down in our private pool. There is a swing set and little club house for small visitors too!
Down town Wellfleet is less than a 10 minute drive (depending on the traffic) and Truro and Provicetown are 20 minutes away.

Area Information

Wellfleet is a place that never disappoints. If you can't find happiness in Wellfleet, then you can't find happiness anywhere. Beaches, Wellfleet Flea Market, amazing restaurants, the freshest seafood around, (you have to go to Mac's Shack to have the best meal you have ever had) and The Wellfleet Drive-in Theater and don't forget square dancing EVERY Wednesday down at the pier!! Bring your dancing shoes! The kids will have a blast!

perfect or two families

We loved staying at this house! It has plenty of room for two families and the pool was a big hit with the kids. It is in a nice quiet neighborhood with lots of parking. ( we have rented houses that sleep 12 with only parking for 2 cars before) The owners were great to deal with and easy to reach with any questions. The house is well equiped and is easy to keep clean. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation without a lot of worries. We hoping to return for next year.

A real Cape Cod vacation.

We have been going to the Cape for 25 years. This was a real Cape Cod vacation in Wellfleet because the house was perfect for us. It accomodated all 10 of us nicely.We had 90 degree weather all week and went to Marconi beach 3 times. We loved it there (no Greenheads) and we came home to the POOL! Then we went to Gull pond at night (free after 5 pm). We went bike riding every day, great trails right out our driveway also Cape Cod Bike Trail 1 mile away. We went to see Harry Potter 2 at the Wellfleet Drive Inn down the street. I hope we can secure another week with this same house next year. Just fantastic!! Rich

Our annual Family Vacation on The Cape.

Once we found the house(no sign on the road), it was fine. We settled in. Found the kitchen well stocked and room at the table for meals or board games. Also, another table in the screen house which was very convenient. It was a quiet street. The children enjoyed going outside to play on the swing set ( just like they do at home). After a day of exploring the Cape, it was nice to come back and relax in the pool. Weather was great for the beach except for the rain at the end of our week. Even then we found things to do. We enjoyed both, the bay and the ocean beaches. While in the water at Marconi Beach we saw seals.

The house was great and the location is perfect. Dealing with the home owners was also a very pleasant experience, very patient with dealing with my crazy family. I would stay there again this Summer, but they raised the price. Definitely a place where you should spend a week or two.

Wellfleet perfection

Our family vacation experience at Wellfleet MA was more than we could have expected. The accommadations were excellent; the inground pool was definitely a bonus; but the weather & local beaches were spectacular - especially Marconi Beach. All in all, a great vacation spot!
