For those that do mind walking through the woods for 10 minutes there is beautiful fresh water pond called Dyer pond. This is an incredible place to go swimming and is much less crowded than other ponds. House is located 5 min. from Wellfleet Harbor and 3 ocean beaches are located less than 2 miles away.

Wellfleet is a town that offers incredible ocean beaches and a number of fresh water ponds as well. Wellfleet Harbor is one of the most beautiful harbors on Cape Cod that also has tennis courts, skateboard facilities and basketball courts right near the harbor. There is a bike trail (also used for walking and rollerblading) nearby where you can ride all the way from Wellfleet to Dennis (22 miles) if you would like.
