Gorgeous Wellfleet House, Amazing Water Views, A/C
|Per week:||$4,000 - $5,300|
The wide-open kitchen and living room have views of the bay and tidal flats. You can enjoy amazing sunsets from the kitchen, dining room table, living room, large wrap-around deck with dining table, rooftop tanning deck, or the master bedroom. The two lower decks and front yard (with grass!) are great for kids who want to explore, run, swing, and play.
The upper level, with its extra high ceilings, has a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, main living area, and master bedroom. The kitchen is very spacious, and the grill on the deck right outside makes dining-in easy. The living area is very comfortable, with views of the water and a surround sound audio and DVD system make for great evening movies.
The over sized master bedroom has direct access to the deck and views of the water from the king size bed. The master bath has a large soaking tub and shower. One of the bedrooms downstairs has a queen-sized bed with a tempur-pedic mattress. The other bedroom can sleep up to five people and is perfect for children. There is a bunk bed with a rolling trundle underneath, plus two futon chairs that open into twin and full sized beds.
The full downstairs bath has a separate shower and tub, and provides direct access to the outdoor shower. There is also a separate half bath plus a laundry room with full sized washer and dryer. The downstairs office, with a built in desk, has a printer/fax machine.
Each bedroom, as well as the living and dining area, has its own thermostat and AC unit for optimal comfort. Wireless internet access is available throughout the house and on the decks. Phone calls within the continental US are free.
The house abuts Audubon park land and is perfect for bird watchers. It is a five-minute walk to Lieutenants Island Bridge where kids and adults love to jump off the bridge (at high tide!). Further down the road at the end of Lieutenants Island is a wonderful bay beach that showcases the changing tides. Oceans beaches near the house include Marconi, Maguire’s Landing and Cahoon Hollow. The bike path is nearby, as is the Wellfleet drive-in and PB Boulangerie, the best French bakery and restaurant on the Cape.
Town beaches (ocean, bay, and ponds) are accessible with a visitors beach permit available from the town beach office. National Park ocean beaches can be accessed with annual or daily passes.
There are stairs leading up to the house and stairs inside. The inside stairway is wide and does not have a gate. This property is not appropriate for toddlers. Maximum occupancy is 4 adults and 5 children.

A most glorious few days in a majestic home in Wellfleet. Sitting on the living room couch taking in that view with the breeze coming in is the most relaxed I have been in years. Thank you thank you thank you.

A REALLY SPECIAL SPOT
5 of 5 Stars
We felt so lucky to be in a house that felt both luxurious and homey - nothing better than a wonderful kitchen and living room space that feels inspiring for a group or peaceful alone! The views from multiple exposures made for so many lovely sights and sunsets, and a great place to gather - and given that we had an unexpected heat wave, the central air conditioning felt like a real treat! A perfect location for feeling both tucked away from the crowds, and also very near lots of nature, kid-friendly activities and water sports. Lots of "above and beyond" touches from the owners created a real feeling of relaxation and comfort. thanks again!

The place was wonderful. The location was perfect. Way off the beaten path, private, secluded, perched high enough to see water views from 180 degrees. Kitchen fully stocked with everything you need. House expertly set up for everything. A/C was glorious. Very comfortable beds.
