Comfortable Home away from home

We rented Mercede's place as a back up for our yearly family vacation to Wells Beach. Our family has expanded so that we now need a '2nd house' for one of the two weeks we are there. This was great as it was in walking distance to the beach and our 'primary' location. Though three of the bedrooms are small, they were comfortable and the fourth bedroom was great for some of our kids as it had a set of bunks and two single beds, very utilitarian! First Time At Chula Vista

Our first stay and we were quite pleased! A wonderful wraparound porch to enjoy the view and breeze. Washer and dryer a great plus to have especially with small kids. Last house on a dead end street also a plus. Very nice wood floors and an easily accessible host.

Awesome stay at Chula Vista

We loved our stay at Chula Vista. The house was very clean, organized and a 1 min walk to the beautiful beach. The kids loved to walk to the arcade after a day at the beach. The parents loved sitting out on the porch at night after we got the kids down. Mercedes was very plesant and professional to deal with. I highly recommend Chula Vista to any family looking for a great beach vacation. Thanks Mercedes!

House is first class owned by great host. It has all the amenities. A great wrap around porch for relaxing after a fun day. Everything in walking distance from house. The arcade, icecream stand, beach, small restaurant, and a small store for forgotten household items, the beachcomber. The house is great for small kids. Stay and enjoy.

Loved all the personal touches throughout the house; charming and clean. Accommodated two families very well; having all the bedrooms upstairs was a plus. After a day at the beach, we were able to put the kiddos to bed and enjoy cocktails on the wrap around porch. Even when it rained, we were able to sit outside and the kids had room to play. The owner is very gracious and was a pleasure to work with.

Chula Vista was a wonderful place to stay - breezy, welcoming and close to the fabulous beach. The house is cozy, comfortable and gives the feeling that the owners care from the flowers on the table to the blueberries that were a special treat. This home is a definite repeat!

Family Oriented Vacation!!!

Chula Vista was perfect in every way, clean, well-outfitted and convieniently located. We were just a short walk to the beach, the arcade and the trolly system. The kids had a blast running around while we relaxed on the wrap aroung farmers porch. Safely located on a dead end street too. Very peaceful and private. I recommend Chula Vista to others without hesitation.

Chula Vista has been our family vacation spot for two years in a row. The location is absolutely fabulous, we enjoyed kayaking in the marsh at high tide and swimming in the ocean later in the day. Our family enjoyed the comfort of Chula Vista and have created long lasting memories!

Our group of 7 adults had a wonderful week at Chula Vista. The kitchen is well furnished (we even made a birthday cake)there's lots of seating both in the living room and on the porch, and the beach is literally a minute's walk away. We were delighted with this cute, clean cottage and the cozy and homey atmosphere it provided for our family vacation.

Wonderful Vacation!!

Chula Vista is amazing!!! After seeing the pictures on the web site and seeing the house in person it was “home away from home”. The house had all of the amenities you could ask for including a wrap around porch and an unbelievable view of the sea and walking distance to the beach! The street was wonderful and quiet for our boys to play, run and ride bikes and not have to worry about traffic. Mercedes and family we want to say Thank You for letting us stay at your house it is truly an amazing and a wonderful spot. A truly amazing experience. Hope to visit again in the future!!

Great Time

We just got back from a week's stay at the Chula Vista. After the summer we'd been having we weren't sure if the weather would cooperate. Luckily it did, but even if it hadn't we still would have had a great time. The house was airy and bright;location was close to everything, including the beach,yet secluded enough to provide privacy. Mercedes Roman was great in providing all the information we needed. She really made us feel welcome in her lovely home. Thanks Mercedes! Hope to visit again in the future.

Our first visit in Wells couldn’t have been better. Chula Vista gave us a home away from home with its wrap around porch and a view of the sea on a quiet street that was relaxing and enjoyable. Only a step away from local stores, the sandy beach and not to mention the marsh and its wildlife close by. It allowed us to travel and see different places and sites with in hours of driving. The house was very clean, comfortable and had all of the necessary amenities. A truly enjoyable experience!!

Chuka Vista is like staying at your home away from home by the sea. It's not your typical "cottage" but rather a warm home with a terrific view! Neighbors are very friendly and welcoming. Close to everything you need with plenty to do for all ages. Or just relaxing on the wrap around porch playing cribbage and drinking wine soaking up the fresh ocean air. We stayed with our 3 teenagers and they can't wait to come back in '09. We are already booked! Don't change a thing. This is such a great spot. Thanks Mercedes!

Great Time At Chula Vista

Week of Labor Day - had a great time, great location, with 'dead end' location no worries about our 3yr old, rode bikes from Church St to Ocean Blvd, across the Footbridge, and along Rt 1 to Perkins Cove and back a few times. Hannafords Nearby for food. Family really enjoyed!
