Just off Route 1, this home is light and airy, with plenty of living area both upstairs and downstairs and is noted for it's historical charm. It is absolutely perfect for anyone, especially families with children. It is uniquely located just 500 feet from the very first Wells settlement at Webhannet Falls; You can still see the stone blocks used to build the dam for their grist mill, which dates to 1640!

Situated on a dead-end road, it is ideally suited for children to safely ride bikes/play on or to head over to explore Webhannet Falls. We occasionally even see deer and turkey here feeding in the grassy areas along the road.
There’s even a rope tree swing in the yard that everyone loves to use! After a day at the beach, let the kids have fun swinging on the rope swing underneath a huge pine tree!

The arbor-covered patio is a great place to have cookouts or entertain, and the fire pit is ideal for gatherings and marshmallow roasts.

The home is only one mile from Wells beach, and a very short walk to anything you would need: grocery store, movie theater, CVS, restaurants, Reny’s department store, and a very fun nightclub with live music. It is also right on the trolley line that takes you around town or, north to Kennebunk and Kennebunkport, or south to Ogunquit.

Remodeled to provide maximum living area, this home has high ceilings and an open-concept approach that provide ample space for up to 6 people. With a living room upstairs and another downstairs you can spread out and not worry about feeling cramped as you might in a typical cottage.

If you've never vacationed in Wells, you don't know what you're missing. The townspeople pride themselves on their friendliness; the beaches are ultra-clean and family-friendly (no loud boomboxes, plenty of lifeguards, etc.) and the scenery is stunning. Off-season events make this a very popular spot for visiting as well.

Only a few minutes north on Route 1 is Kennebunkport with it's beautiful quaint shops and restaurants right on the water and Walker's Point, location of the Bush Family Compound (don't be surprised to see George W. Bush fishing or operating his speedboat just offshore during the summer). A short drive south is Kittery with it's world-renowned shopping.

In Wells itself are many fantastic places to eat including: Mike's Clam Shack, Billy's Chowder House, The Fisherman's Catch (our favorite for it's rustic charm), and of course the world-famous Maine Diner.
