NOT A SINGLE HOME RENTAL, the Tern Inn is a unique property on Cape Cod. We offer two lodging options; 6 individual cottage units, or 8 individual delightful guest rooms for the daily visitor. The main house in the photo is NOT rented as an entire home, it accommodates our 8 individual guest rooms. The Guest Room rate is per room, per night, in season from $165 per night, plus tax. Our unusual COLONY of 6 SEPARATE cottage units, which will accommodate from 2 to 6 guests per unit with complete comfort, are available IN SEASON only. All are newly remodeled, and each offers its own personality for your vacationing needs.
Each cottage is fully equipped, with its own patio and grill, all set on a beautiful 2 acre setting in a residential neighborhood. If you can't visit for a week, we hope you will consider our lovely guest rooms, which rent on a daily basis, and are priced per room per night, plus tax. Eight rooms, all with private bath and private entrance, offer all the comforts of home with queen or king beds, color cable tv, daily housekeeping and much more. We are in the most central portion of Cape Cod, a short drive to all the Cape can offer for your visit. Chatham is just minutes away, Hyannis about 20 minutes, the National Seashore is about 1/2 hour. We are 40 minutes from Provincetown, and 30 minutes from the bridge.
Our local area includes many great restaurants, main street shopping, theater (live and film) mini golf, nature walks, and of course, the beach!! Rent bikes for the day and enjoy our wonderful biking path, or charter your own fishing boat for fresh sea bass. (we will even prepare your catch for your enjoyment... ) Explore the beaches on your own, or take a seal tour into the harbor. Take a day trip to Martha's Vineyard, or a high speed boat to Nantucket and spend a day exploring the cobblestone streets there. Pack a picnic and walk to the beach, or load the car and take a whale watch tour from Provincetown. There is too much to do for just a day or two, so plan your visit for the week... enjoy your own little cottage, and all the Cape has to offer!
