Description of the West Harwich vacation home rental

Enjoy a fun getaway with family in a charming wooded setting, steps away from the beach! This comfortable home features a bright kitchen, generous living room and sunny Florida room for gatherings, along with four fun and unique bedrooms. Second story master suite provides a spacious getaway with a king bed, large bath and sunny private balcony. Bedroom #2 features a double bed and built-in drawers; the castle-themed Bedroom #3 has two twin beds and a stained-glass window, and Bedroom #4 has four twin beds and a ‘beach party’ motif.

Outdoor activities include a gas grill, picnic table and shuffleboard court. Earle Road beach is a pleasant five minute walk away; an enclosed outdoor shower awaits your return.

Rentals are Saturday to Saturday, Check in @ 3PM , Check out @ 10AM. Separate cleaning fee of $200 required.

Area Information

Centrally located on Cape Cod, Harwich is an ideal setting for a family getaway. Less touristy and more relaxed than many of its neighbors, Harwich still provides a wide variety of things to do. Aquatic activities in town include canoeing, water-skiing, deep sea fishing and fresh water fly fishing. Sandy beaches welcome swimmers and sunbathers on the scenic Nantucket Sound. The Bell’s Neck Conservation area provides walking/hiking trails through marshland and tidal creeks, and is an excellent location for birding. Bicyclists should not miss the spectacular Cape Cod Rail Trail, which passes along cranberry bogs and salt marshes as it winds its way up the Cape.

Other activities include day trips to Nantucket or Monomoy Islands (departing from Harwich Port), performances of the nationally known Harwich Junior Theatre in West Harwich, taking in the Cape’s most elegant architecture and the charming Brooks Library (Harwich town center), or cheering the Harwich Mariners of the Cape Cod baseball league (home games at Harwich High School).
