Description of the West Jefferson vacation cabin rental

Nestled among the laurels on Mount Jefferson, our 3BR, 2BA log cabin boasts a peaceful setting but is just minutes away from West Jefferson and Boone.

Our smoke-free cabin is centrally located near several attractions including the New River State Park (ten minutes away), Mt. Jefferson State Park (two minutes), the Appalachian Trail, and the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Ski several nearby slopes, golf the local links, canoe the rapids, or hike & bike the back country. Visit the Bluff Mountain Nature Preserve, hike the nearby Appalachian Trail, traverse the Virginia Creeper Trail, or check out the New River Zoo.

Take the mountain road just up from the house into the Mount Jefferson State Park. You can hike to the summit at approximately 5000 feet, have a picnic, and enjoy the views into three states from one of the overlooks.

• Deposits: $250 refundable security deposit required for all bookings. The deposit will be refunded after departure upon inspection of unit. The remaining booking balance is due thirty days prior to arrival. **Rates are subject to change and rates for all holidays are $160 per night. A 3 night minimum stay is required for all holidays.
   
• Other Fees: We do allow small pets 25lbs and under and require an additional $50 fee for pets. Bringing pets MUST be arranged in advance. No other junk fees charged by middlemen -- rent directly from the owners for less!

So peaceful, so quiet! When the crickets and peeps are the only sounds you hear at night you sleep better. Nestled in the woods, this very clean house is close to grocery shopping and WalMart, but you won't need much, it has everything you could possibly want. We will definately be back next year! We might even try a short get-away this fall, I bet the trees are beautiful!

Hi Everyone, This cabin is definitely a keeper. Clean and Nice, just Prefect........... The owners were very understanding and thoughtful with us which was a party of 5 women. The location was also convenient to many of the local shops. I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone, Sincerely, Linda

We totally enjoyed our time at Lazy Daze cabin. It provided a private get-away in a wooded setting on the edge of Mount Jefferson. Yet at the same time it was close to all the ambience of rustic town West Jefferson. We felt "at home" in the log home as it was furnished with all the creature comforts you've come to expect.
