Our smoke-free cabin is centrally located near several attractions including the New River State Park (ten minutes away), Mt. Jefferson State Park (two minutes), the Appalachian Trail, and the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Ski several nearby slopes, golf the local links, canoe the rapids, or hike & bike the back country. Visit the Bluff Mountain Nature Preserve, hike the nearby Appalachian Trail, traverse the Virginia Creeper Trail, or check out the New River Zoo.
Take the mountain road just up from the house into the Mount Jefferson State Park. You can hike to the summit at approximately 5000 feet, have a picnic, and enjoy the views into three states from one of the overlooks.

The Lazy Daze Cabin is so perfect for our family. We have visited there three times now and each visit is so serene and we cannot wait to come back. The memories we share there are very special. Not to mention being at Mt. Jefferson and all the great fishing around there. We love having family dinners and enjoy grilling on the deck. The owners are wonderful and we really appreciate them so much.

So peaceful, so quiet! When the crickets and peeps are the only sounds you hear at night you sleep better. Nestled in the woods, this very clean house is close to grocery shopping and WalMart, but you won't need much, it has everything you could possibly want. We will definately be back next year! We might even try a short get-away this fall, I bet the trees are beautiful!

Hi Everyone, This cabin is definitely a keeper. Clean and Nice, just Prefect........... The owners were very understanding and thoughtful with us which was a party of 5 women. We totally enjoyed our time at Lazy Daze cabin. It provided a private get-away in a wooded setting on the edge of Mount Jefferson. Yet at the same time it was close to all the ambience of rustic town West Jefferson. We felt "at home" in the log home as it was furnished with all the creature comforts you've come to expect.
04/28/05 -- i have to say i have satyed in many cabins but this one was the best. i even took pictures of the cabin because some of the features were what i wanted when i build me house. i loved it. and we plan on coming back again if they will have us. the cabin was so nice and cozy, and the loft was a great aded feature. i cannot say enough. i've rented many places in tenn, and n.c. and this has to be one or the nicest that i have stayed. thank you for a great time and relaxing week. i needed it.

9/14/04 -- It rained and rained and rained and rained, courtesy of Frances. We spent lots of time inside and loved having the comfort and conveniences while listening to the rain on the trees! By far the nicest cabin we've stayed in. We highly recommend this for anyone looking for a private getaway but also lots of outdoors things to do. Oh, and shopping in the mountains!
