This secluded log cabin perched high upon the mountainside is the perfect place for couples or family and friends to relax and enjoy the breath taking view of Mt. Jefferson . Inside this 3 bedroom 2 bath recently remodeled and fully furnished getaway, you will find yourself enjoying a spacious floor plan that includes a living area with fireplace, eat in kitchen and laundry room, with washer and dryer provided for your convenience. The master bedroom offers a king size bed with a private bath. The second bedroom offers a spacious queen size bed with a full size dresser. The kids will love the third bedroom equipped with a queen and twin sized bed and a full size dresser as well. Outside you can take in the scenic view of the mountains with the wrap around porch and outdoor fire pit. There are two grills available for all your outdoor BBQ needs. Located just minutes from downtown West Jefferson and Boone in beautiful Ashe County, North Carolina.

Amazing Views

October 7, 2012

We stayed for a week in October and experienced the beautiful change as fall begins. This cabin is a rustic getaway. The local town, gem mining and the state park are very close. The narrow drive up the mountain is tricky with the rocks and bumps but worth it once you arrive to this very private cabin.

A Wonderful Slice of Heaven

We were delighted to enjoy our time at McGuire's cabin in NC! Peace and beauty, wildflowers, and wildlife. The cabin is very nice and roomy inside. Beautiful views all around! Beautiful Mountain View

June 28, 2012

My family and I stayed here for two weeks and it was amazing! It was close to horseback riding, tubing on the river, canoeing, white water rafting and shops. We were able to go hiking without leaving our cabin and saw lots of wildlife. The cabin was spacious and clean with a wraparound porch, great for drinking my coffee in the morning and enjoying the view. We will definitely be coming back!!! Thanks so much!!!
