Description of the West Jefferson vacation cabin rental

Large two-story nicely decorated rustic cabin. Rustic meets luxury with all the amenities of home. Family room and separate den/kids room. Three large flat screens and high speed internet. Floor to ceiling fireplace with wrap around deck with grill. All you need to bring is a toothbrush. Fully stocked, clean and comfortable. Located in Stonebridge with year 'round access. Located right on a flowing stream and so relaxing to sit on the deck and enjoy the sounds of nature.

$300 refundable deposit to hold reservation.

$500 refundable deposit for month stays or longer.

$80 exit cleaning (deducted from original deposit) Self cleaning may be an option.

Pets are welcome.

Lodging tax for NC 9.75% (included in rates)

Area Information

Located in Todd, West Jefferson area. close to town and only about a 30-minute drive to a larger area, Boone.

Christmas 2012

January 2, 2013

My family and friends spent Christmas (10 days) in this wonderful home and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We had 5 adults and 1 child (and 2 dogs) and had more than enough room. The cabin has a rustic look and feel with all the benifits of home. We were so incredibly comfortable and relaxed during our stay. The location is great. It is in a wooded area, so you have privacy from the other homes in the area and don't feel boxed in. It is located a short and beautiful drive from Boone. So it is easy to get into town to go shopping or to go out to dinner. Overall, our trip was a complete success and we were sorry we had to return home. The home owner (Jennifer) is very nice and made renting the property a pleasure. We would highly recommend this wonderful home to anyone who wants to have a nice and relaxing vacation. We look forward to our next vacation so we might have the opportunity to return.

Family Thanksgiving

We loved staying here. It was everything you see in the pictures and more!! My whole family (9 in all) stayed here during the Thanksgiving Holiday. We were close to everything we needed in W. Jefferson. The kids loved playing outside on the decks and at the creek that ran by house. Nice inside too, the kitchen had everything we needed to do lots of cooking at Thanksgiving. We loved having two living rooms, one for the kids and one for the adults. All of the beds were really nice too. Everything was perfect! I know we will be staying here again.

Q:What's so great about this house?

A:This house has 2 family rooms and fully stocked. We have a firepit on the deck with nice white christmas lights and it's relaxing to sit out and listen to the bubbling stream. It's fun to explore the neighborhood, hike up the steep mountain roads and wade in the stream.

Q:Can I access this house even in the ice or snow?

A:Yes!!! We are at the beginning of the steep road going up the mountain and toward the front of the neighborhood, making this the perfect location all year long.
