Exclusive mediterranean villa, new construction finished in 2008! Luxury courtyard home overlooking pool and patio area with real "Old World" feeling. Located only a block and half away from the Intercostal waterway and minutes to Palm Beach island exclusive beaches and Worth Ave. Over 6500 square feet, 5000 under AC and the rest of private courtyard patios, terraces and balconies.

Total of 5 bedrooms, 2 of them downstairs with easy access for handicap challenged people. King, Queen and twin beds on bedrooms, a loft area and a separate very private cabana-guest room by the pool!.

This is one of a kind property, built with the most unique imported materials from overseas: gas fireplace with antique marble mantle from beginning of century, real hard wood floors made out of imported "Curupay" wood, marble floors, costume made wrought iron work on balconies, entrance gates and staircase railings, outdoor gas kitchen with fireplace as well, saline pool (non chlorine), Gourmet kitchen fully equipped with Viking and Thermador appliances... to many wonderful details to describe in one page! you won't be disappointed we promise...

Deposits: 40% damage deposit of full rental amount, or $3800 whichever is less to secure and book the property, balance left is due withing 30 days upon arrival in low season and 60 days prior to arrival on high season. Check in and check out times are flexible as long we don't have new guests arriving or leaving :) We also accept direct wire transfers, the security deposit will be refunded the same way it was received.

perfect for golfing group

We stayed in this wonderful home during our annual guys golf trip. We had five guys and this house worked out perfectly. There is a great family room with flat screen tv, WII, Pandora and more. The pool was a great place to sit and have a few cocktails after golf before getting ready for dinner. This house is fully loaded with every ammenity you could want. We have stayed in many beautiful homes before but there is something that places this home above all the rest. The first evening we were there, a small issue came up with the air conditioning. The owners had the repair person there in 15 minutes and this was at 9:30 at night!! Before we arrived, I asked Gigi if she would go to the store and get us some beer and wine so it was there when we arrived, she did so without hesitation. Very appreciated. Do not hesitate to rent this house.

A Perfect Family Christmas

December 28, 2009

We rented Villa Fortunata for a week over Christmas. The house was perfect for a family Christmas vacation, with plenty of room for ten of us (three couples and four kids in our group). The villa is beautifully appointed and filled with antiques. Gigi had a Christmas tree set up for us and she left fresh roses throughout the home! The kitchen is large and well-equipped with top of the line appliances and plenty of dishes for large family dinners. The location is central to everything--the beach, restaurants and great shopping. We took daily walks along the intercoastal, where we could gaze out over the water or admire the lovely homes all lit up and decorated for Christmas. Villa Fortunata is aptly named--for we feel very "fortunate" to have had the opportunity to vacation there.

The location of the house was perfect, walking distance to the Inter Costal, only minutes away from City Place and only two minutes away from the beach.
