Property is situated at the intersection of three towns with innumerable cultural activities- Stockbridge, Lenox, and Pittsfield. . House is literally two minutes from Tanglewood -the summer home of the world famous Boston Symphony Orchestra. Also minutes to Berkshire Theater Festival with two stages in Stockbridge- performing both classic and experimental theater; Shakespeare & Company with three stages in Lenox; Barrington Stage Company in newly renovated historic theater in Pittsfield.

Southern Berkshires has numerous opportunities for biking and hiking - on your own or with organized groups. Also home to Historical sites, including Shaker Village, Norman Rockwell Museum, Herman Melville's Arrowhead home, Edith Wharton Estate.
