Sit on the deck and enjoy spectacular views of the Madison River Valley and the surrounding Madison Range mountains. Take a short walk to the Madison River and enjoy blue ribbon trout fishing at its finest. Take a trip to West Yellowstone, Ennis, Virginia City, which are all less than an hour drive away. Enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets in a peaceful and secluded setting. Look for the local moose, deer, bald eagles, hawks and other wildlife that make there home here. Bring your binoculars or telescope and see the moon and stars like never before.

In the winter, it is not uncommon to see large herds of elk bedding on the property. We have a moose, affectionately known as "Bert" to the locals, who hangs out in the willow thickets close to the house along with several families of deer.

Immediately across the Madison River from the house is the 7000+ acre Wall Creek Wildlife Management Area. The east face of the Gravelly Range offers superb winter range for elk and deer. Sharp-eyed watchers can spot antelope, black bear, raptors, small mammals, and songbirds. The Madison River is a major migration corridor for Canada and snow geese, ducks, loons, swans and sandhill cranes. Beaver, muskrat, mink and river otter can be seen along the river and the creeks which drain into it. The area can be used for hiking, camping, fishing, hunting and many other activities.
