Description of the Westcliffe vacation cabin rental

You'll find us on the road less traveled.
And there you will find:

A newly constructed 2 bedrooms 2 bath Cabin.
With 2 queen beds, full kitchen, cozy living room with a gas fireplace. Great decks to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Just relax & enjoy the peace and tranquility or hike the Rainbow Trail. We are located in the Townsite of Rosita, a former mining/ghost town & now a small community. You can visit the Rosita Cemetary from 1870 just down the road. Don't forget your camera. The Wet Mountain Valley has some of Colorado's greatest scenery. You WILL see deer. And maybe a bear, bob cat, coyote, antelope, elk, hawks & eagles... but you will see deer. The wildflowers should be great this year with all the moisture we've had. Our country roads are great for mountain bikes too.

When you choose the road to Custer County Colorado, you choose the road less traveled. There's not a traffic light in the entire county....we don't have traffic - unless you count antelope, deer & elk. You can truly get back to what's most important in life... Serenity. The quaint shops & galleries that line the streets of Westcliffe & Silvercliff are a refreshing change from the mall. The beauty of nature is untouched by billboards, fresh air filled with the sweet scent of hay, big sky adorned with more stars than you've ever seen, and majestic mountains that seem to go on forever & change their appearance daily.
Custer County is blessed with real natural beauty. Majestic 14,000 foot peaks on one side & the the pine-covered Wet Mountains on the other border of our broad flat valley. We boast over 200,000 acres of public lands & 52 lakes. With an average of 320 days of sunshine a year, it's the place for year round adventure. This is our second visit to Rosarita Rentals in Westcliffe, CO. As usual everyting was great and the cabin was exceptionally clean as usual. We sat on the deck and every evening the deer with their fawns would come and visit. We bought a couple of things for the cabin so we could use it our next visit and also for other visitors to use. Such a quiet place and the best resturant in the area was around the corner. We are planning another visit in the winter. The owners are readily available if any issues need to be addresed. Thanks again Tom, the visit was so relaxing and peaceful.
