This newly renovated, fully furnished, direct waterfront house on Harbor Rd., in the upscale Saugatuck Shores section of Westport, Connecticut, offers a panoramic view of Long Island Sound, a master bedroom suite overlooking the water, a private courtyard surrounded by beautiful mature flowers, a country front porch and second floor deck facing the water.
The house is tastefully furnished, has 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a kitchen with new stainless appliances, living room, dining room, new oak floors, washer, dryer, cable TVs, DVDs, VCRs and high-speed Internet access.
Please call for weekend and holiday rates, including Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's. Annual rental is $5,200 a month. Previous renters' references and additional photos are available upon request. No broker fees. Reply to owner.
Area Description
Often referred to as the "Gold Coast," the area is known for its many cultural, entertainment and recreational attractions, including fine restaurants, trendy stores, art shows, seasonal concerts, antiques, beautiful scenery, historic landmarks and the famous Westport Playhouse. The public-access Longshore Country Club has golf , tennis, pool, sail boating, kayaking, sailing school and a popular restaurant. Nearby Campo Beach is family-oriented and offers a long sandy beach, modern pavilion, dressing rooms, showers, new playground, food service, picnic area, basketball and volleyball. The house is about 65 minutes by train or car to mid-town Manhattan. It's about a mile to the train station, which has ample parking.
"We rented this home for two months and if plans permitted would do so again. Great location enjoying a wide harbor vista looking at sunrise over the opening to Long Island Sound. Very clean, all practical ammenities, lovely sun porch which is part of master bdrm. Very convenient to Rt 95, MetroNorth and In town Westport."

"The perfect beach house. A stones throw to the water, the view from the upper deck and front porch of Long Island Sound was worth the price alone. But to add to that the home is in immaculate condition nicely decorated and very comfortable. The owners were accommodating and very responsive to our every need and made us feel at home. The town of Westport which is only a few minutes drive has great restaurants and shopping. This is a place we thoroughly enjoyed and are looking forward to going back to."

"Great week! My family of 5 spent the Thanksgiving week at this lovely house in Westport Ct. Amazing water views particularly from the master bedroom located at the front of the house. The house is spotless, nicely decorated, completely updated (lovely kitchen with stainless steel appliances) and cozy. The neighborhood is wonderful for seaside walks. The house is right across Harbor Road from the water. I would imagine that in warmer weather it would be very easy to access the harbor with kyacks etc. The house is close to the Westport train station (not walking distance but a short drive) and there is lots of parking at the station for a quick ride into NYC. Landlords Mike and Joan are very welcoming and friendly. All and all, a great experience."
