Description of the Whidbey Island vacation home rental

Located in Ebey's Landing National Historic Reserve near Coupeville on Whidbey Island, this 1908 farmhouse is on a preserved historic working farm. The house is beautiful and well-equipped, kids can help with farm chores, families walk the farm roads and drive one mile to a beach overlooking Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains. The house is large enough for an extended family or two families to stay together.

Great getaway

We stayed two nights at Jenne Farm with friends over New Year's and had a great time. The house is spacious and lovely and accomodated our two families (total of 8 people plus a dog) with plenty of room to spare. The house was also very warm and comfortable despite some very cold weather outside. The countryside around the house is beautiful, we enjoyed walking the trails around the property, and Farmer Fran very graciously gave our kids a tour of the farm, letting them feed the cows and take turns driving the tractor--definitely the highlight of their stay! All in all, highly recommended.

I am Alina and me and my family are from Germany. We stayed here with our friends. My English is not the best, so I can only tell you some little things about our 2 days we stayed here. IT WAS WONDERFUL! We all love your pretty farm. When we arrived, we could only say things like, 'wow!', or, 'that looks like a mansion!' We enjoyed our holidays here. Thank you, Fran, for doing the pig-shower with us! We had a really great time in this beautiful house!

We are so grateful we've been able to come back here so many times! It was a small group this year. The peace of this place was lovely as we hung out, played games, and went on walks. Thanks for making this place available!

The day was absolutely lovely--we woke to the childrens' excitement to be on the farm and eagerly awaiting 'the farmer'. They gathered apples which became apple sauce for elevenses and apple pie for mama's birthday. Then 'the farmer' arrived and the joys of gathering eggs (yummy!), feeding the goats and DRIVING THE TRACTOR began. We spent time at the beach, had a nice lunch in town--came home to bake a pie with Grandma,then walked to Middle Earth.

The house is lovely, the whole place relaxing and refreshing. Thank you Fran and Joyce for a truly lovely weekend.
