Description of the Whidbey Island vacation home rental

Think about your next vacation get away. Think about beautiful Whidbey Island. This vacation house is located less than two miles from the Clinton ferry dock. It provides stunning views of the Puget Sound and Cascade Mountains. You can also see ferry crossings from the deck or from the sun room. It is only steps to the beach and community boat ramp. At night, you will see the beautiful city lights of Mukilteo and Everett on the horizon.

The house has a master bedroom with a king size bed and walk-in closet. A second bedroom with a queen size bed and a bonus room with a single bed provide extra room to accommodate families. It can comfortably house up to 6 people. It is a wonderful place for relaxation, play, fishing, clamming or a walk on the beach.

Note: Starting June 1st, 2009, we have had broadband Internet connection and wireless available. You can check email while on vacation.

Area Information

Whidbey Island is one of the largest islands on the West Coast of the United States. The island is about 60 miles long. With its unique position between the Cascade and Olympic Mountains and the beautiful Northwest climate, it attracts more than 4 million visitors each year. It can provide all kinds of activities for those who love the outdoors. The long beaches may be the number one reason that people visit Whidbey. From this vacation house, it is only steps away from the beaches of Whidbey Island where people go clamming, boating, and fishing. Whidbey Island also offers a variety of other outdoor activities, including hiking, camping, kayaking, and biking.

Great views

This house was right next to the water and the views were amazing. It made up for the mustiness of the house. We stayed in the house with a group for a retreat and it was very spacious, but a little outdated. Overall, it was a great area, GORGEOUS views, and an ok house.

Had a wonderful time on Whidbey, enjoyed sitting in the sun room watching the ferries going back and forth, the view was excellent. House is very comfortable, lots of room. The light colors made me a little nervous with twin 3 year olds, but everything worked out great. Would stay here again.

Excellent location. Only downside is the charge for the ferry. 3 fares round trip was $25. Very spacious and well maintained residence with 1 TV in the living room and computer with DSL connection. Large windows and porch with floor to ceiling windows that have an excellent view of the sound and a great view of the sunrises. Beach is right down the road and is great for walking and collecting shells and rocks. Overall had a great week. The island has many small towns and shops, variety of foods. There is a grocery store appox. 2 miles down the road. Planning on trying it again next season.

Views are breathtaking... all day long. Home was very comfortable for our traveling group and very well appointed. We would not hesitate to rent again if we return to the area. Wish we could have stayed longer.

My experience here has been more than wonderful. This home is very comfortable, with spacious rooms, lots of light and many amenities. The view is spectacular and renews the spirit. I have stayed at several places on Whidbey Island and none compares with this home. A perfect site for rest and relaxation!
