Description of the Whistler vacation condo rental
This exceptionally well-equipped one-bedroom condo in Whistler is newly decorated and fitted out to a high standard. It includes cozy bathrobes, high quality towels and complimentary toiletries and coffee. It also includes WiFi internet access, cable TV, Guitar Hero for music video games and a DVD player complete with a selection of popular movies.
Tastefully decorated in soft colors, this newly renovated one-bedroom apartment is 600ft2 which gives plenty of space for four adults. The spacious living room has a natural stone fireplace with a glowing gas fire for cozy apres-ski drinks.At one end there is a dining table and chairs to seat 4 guests, with further seating around an occasional table. The furnishings are brand new and there is a comfortable sofa bed. Cable TV is included, along with a selection of DVD movies for guest's entertainment. This well-equipped condo also includes Guitar hero, for a fun evening with friends and a Play Station.
The kitchen is extremely well-fitted with a full size fridge-freezer, an electric oven and hob and a built in microwave. There are plenty of cupboards and drawers, fully equipped with pots, pans, cutlery, glasses and all you will need for a great stay. There is a stainless steel twin sink on the peninsula unit and ample workspace. A laundry is also available in the unit.
The bedroom has a double bed with nightstands, and plenty of closet and storage space. Top quality bedding is supplied, along with terry cloth robes, fluffy embroidered towels and ample soaps and shampoos. The bathroom has a shower, tub and a hairdryer is thoughtfully provided.
Outside the apartment is a communal hot tub, nestled in the pine trees. It is perfect for star-watching and relaxing those aching muscles! There is also underground secured parking.
This condo is exceptionally well-appointed and ideally situated for visitors to Whistler, year-round. The condo welcomes children and pets. Bookings may be made by the night or by the week, and Visa, Cash or PayPal is acceptable. It is advisable to book early to avoid disappointment.

Whistler Village is pedestrian-friendly. It is very pretty, and has a host of good restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques and spas.
Skiing at Whistler
Whistler has an excellent reputation as a top ski destination. It has 7000 acres of skiable terrain, 200 marked trails, 38 lifts, 12 alpine bowls and the greatest vertical drop of any American ski resort, at an incredible 5000 feet. It has around 30 feet of snowfall every year, and the main season runs from late November through May. Summer skiing on Blackcomb even continues on through July. The secret is to go high, as it sometimes rainy at the resort base, but it is clearer as you head upwards.
The standards of the ski slopes are clearly exceptional as Whistler is the official host for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games. More than half the trails are graded intermediate, but advanced skiers also find plenty of challenges. The longest run is an incredible 7 miles, and the views are outstanding from both the piste and the chairlift.
Not only are the natural conditions outstanding for downhill skiing, but the amenities in Whistler are also superb. The high speed ski lift system is efficient and there is the new Peak 2 Peak Gondola spanning the 2.7 mile gap between Whistler and Blackcomb peaks.
Whistler has more accommodation than any other ski resort in North America, but it needs it. It is imperative to book good accommodation early. There are no bargains at short notice in Whistler. Late bookers may be forced to take more expensive accommodation than they wanted, further from the attractions.
