Whistler in fresh snow

March 5, 2014

We were very fortunate to get over 50 cms of fresh snow during our stay. It made the spa very welcoming after spending time on the slopes, tubing, snowshoeing and playing in the snow around the cottage. My daughters slept very well, so did we. Thanks for the break from work!

Awesom home, great stay!

February 18, 2014

We throughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely residence. Everything you could ask for was provided. We skied hard, cooked well, hot tubbed plenty and really enjoyed the comfy beds. Thanks for the opportunity to enjoy your lovely Creekside home!

Owner's reply:

We are so happy that you and your friends had such a good time despite the marginal ski conditions. We thank you for leaving our home in perfect condition. We look forward to visiting your home in LaConner.

Creekside Charm

February 11, 2014

Our family of four stayed at John and Carol's Creekside home for nearly a month in January 2014. The house was extremely warm, comfortable and spacious. There was plenty of room for us as well as another NZ family who stayed with us for a week. In this regard the second living space upstairs was especially welcome, as well as the two bathrooms. The hot tub was a real treat at the end of a hard day's skiing (and at the end of a quiet day, too!) We loved being in Creekside - everything we needed was right there - some lovely restaurants, a well stocked supermarket, and the Creekside gondola was 5 minutes walk from the house. The bus into Whistler Village was close by and easy to access. We met some lovely locals who were very accommodating and kind with their time and advice. We also got to meet John and Carol at the end of our stay, which added a very nice personal touch to our visit. They were even kind enough to help us recover some souvenirs we had inadvertently left on a bus!! All in all we had a brilliant trip and would love to go back if we get another opportunity. We would definitely stay here again and plan to keep in touch with John and Carol in the future. Thanks for the memories!!!

Owner's reply:

We thank the Doyle family for their kind comments. It is very gratifying to know that they have had a memorable holiday in Whistler. And to know that we and our vacation home have made a small contribution is icing on the cake. We look forward to future visits with our new friends from Auckland. Thanks Candice, Bernard, Jake and Pheobe.

This was the perfect home away from home for our 6 week vacation. Perfect for the whole family with plenty of space - both inside and out. A large back yard for the kids to play in and a huge hot tub on the back deck – this was a highlight after the tough days on the slopes! The property is very well maintained and appointed with all of the essentials. The location was perfect – everything we needed was in Creekside including shops, restaurants and ski school. Just a short walk to the Creekside Gondola or the bus stop for the 5 minute ride into Whistler village. A huge thanks to the owners for their hospitality and making this such a memorable family vacation.

Owner's reply:

It is wonderful to get such positive comments from the Partridge family. What's even better is the fact that we had the opportunity to meet with them and share in their fantastic Canadian adventure. As we bid farewell it is most gratifying to know that they have created many life long memories. And that we and our Whistler vacation home have played a small part in this process. This has been a very positive experience for us! We have discovered some new friends. We look forward to future visits with both the Partridge family and other visitors to our Whistler home. Our wonderful trip to Whistler was spent at this beautiful home. My daughter and another couple stayed there and it was walking distance to all ammenities. The home was warm cozy and everything a person would ever need. The hot tub was especially relaxful, with a glass of wine and reading a book. The owners were especially kind and were prompt with return of our damage deposit and courteous to ask us how our stay was. I will for sure return again for another relaxing week, I recommend renting this home for your holiday of pure comfort and relaxation !!

Owner's reply:

Thanks for the great review, Bev. We are especially pleased that you and your family enjoyed your stay at our Whistler home. And we would welcome you back anytime in the future. John and Carol

    Hi there;
    We are the retired owners of a family Whistler vacation home that doesn't get enough use since our 3 sons have grown and moved to other parts of Canada. Despite the distances we do manage to get together in Whistler and have great times with our extended family for about 3 weeks each year...
