We stayed in cabin #3 and thoroughly enjoyed it. We were celebrating our 33rd anniversary so the fact that there was no real kitchen (only a microwave, college sized refrigerator, and 4 cup coffe maker) was no real issue for us. Enough for strawberries, chocolate, cheese and wine. Bring your own paper plates, plastic ware, cutting knives, cork screw, etc. It was harest time when we were there, so sweet grapes could be plucked off the vines just outside the door of the cabin. The front porch overlooked the vineyard, and the back porch overlooked an open grassed hill and two large ponds. The smell of muscadine grapes filled the air in the evenings so we cut off the air conditioner and opened the windows to let in the sweet atmosphere. The heart shaped tub for two was relaxing and within the romantic theme we were looking for. The king sized bed was very comfortable, and after drinking a bottle of the vinyard's wine that we got at the gift shop/deli, we slept like logs. Very relaxing, very clean, very romantic. No phone and no internet, and small quarters, so not a place for work or work outs. TV was there and it worked, but we did not really use it. Weddings were being held all around us (at a distance), but that did not detract at all. The grounds and vineyards are beautiful (no processing on site) for strolling or riding a bike. If the stopper in the tub for 2 had functioned properly, if the kitchen had a small stove and bigger frig, and if there had been a fireplace (though I don't know where they would put those things in such a cozy little cabin) I might have gone all the way to 5 stars. The people were friendly, and the history of the vineyard / Taylor family was intriguing. There was not much to do in the area, very few restaurants to visit, none with a Sunday breakfast, so settle in and entertain yourself; we did. I recommend the stay and would probably go back if I get the opportunity.

When we arrived at the Vineyard it was busy with a political event. The staff were expecting us. It was nice to walk the grounds and explore on our own. The view from the cabin was very pretty and relaxing. The cabin was clean and perfect. Elizabethtown was very close so it was not a hassle at all to drive to town for dinner. Waking up to quiet and watching osprey was just what we were looking for.

I had a great time with my husband as a getaway from the grind. The owners of the cabins/vineyard were there to greet you and everyone was really nice. If you are going to stay here you will need to bring microwaveable or finger foods because there is very limited options for food in the area and no stove in cabins. Overall, really nice time.
