Description of the White Pine vacation apartment rental

Mineral River Lodge is located in White Pine, in the beautiful Western Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We offer cozy 1 bedroom apartments complete with kitchen to assist in making your vacation as cost free as possible! Cable, on-site laundry, hot tub, friendly staff and minutes away from Lake Superior, Lake Gogebic and the beautiful Porcupine Mountain State Park. Special $250.00 per week until October 1, 2009, also renting on daily, monthly or seasonal terms.

Mineral River Lodge is located minutes away for the shores of Lake Superior, Lake Gogebic, ATV routes and the wonderful Porcupine Mountains. Whether your pleasures are hiking, fishing, swimming, atving, site-seeing we have it all. Lighthouses, beautiful waterfalls, museums, mining tours are all activities available in Western Upper Peninsula. In the fall, there are circle tours of fall colors throughout the area. In the winter, it's a skiing and snowmobile paradise with the snowmobile trails starting at our back door.

Here's a link to some of the beautiful waterfalls that you can visit while in the UP. I've spent some wonderful days searching for, hiking to and viewing some of these gorgeous places. Some have easy access, some really difficult and some need miles of hiking to get too but I'm so happy that I have been able to visit many of these wonderful places here. Check out gowaterfalls
