Exceeded My High Expectations, June 24, 2008
By Jennifer D. (Princeton, NJ)
My family and I were impressed by the following: the chalet was very clean and all linens were very fresh; each bed was very comfortable; the kitchen and living room area made us feel at home; the land and surrounding area was beautifully green, quiet and refreshing; and the area hiking and dining recommendations and instructions on how to orient us further made us feel like we were welcome guests to treat and experience this chalet as if it were our home. It was better than our home. We felt like we experienced a retreat in a beautiful setting. We had a tree house view from the deck as we sipped our morning coffee. And, the Adirondak chairs were so comfortable - perfect for reading, relaxing and even a little nap on the deck on near a small fire.

Beautifull, Secluded, & Cozy Home away from Home!, January 29, 2008
By Maria Pergola (Toms River,NJ)
Everything was way more than expected. We had a wonderfull vacation. The house was located only 10 miles from great skiing. Everything you could possibly need was in the house. The house was very clean. Everything was perfect!! We would definately come back and refer our freinds and family.

 All I Could've Wanted, January 19, 2008
By Joseph Bressler (Buffalo, NY)
Quiet, comfortable, spacious, clean, all the amenities from home and cheap to boot. We especially liked the dart board, the hot tub and the seclusion but there is something to appeal to everyone in the chalet. The place was wonderful and the owners are even better. They were courteous helpful accomadating and made everything convenient. I'll be sure to rent it again next year!

 Peace & Serenity, November 11, 2007
By Shannon Beirman (Oswego, NY)
I have to tell you this place was a wonderful find and we cannot wait to come back this winter to ski. The description of the chalet is right on, all wood interior, warm & cozy and it is better then home. You get to enjoy the heavenly Adirondacks, the magic of Lake Placid and at the chalet peace and quiet. There are two TV's, music player, hot tub, games and a lovely fireplace. The rent is so much cheaper then others, the home is very clean and I recommend you give it a try.

Heaven on earth, September 25, 2007
By Joyce and John Winterroth (Smith Island, Maryland)
I thank my lucky stars that we located this rental. The owners are really nice, and made us feel VERY comfortable in their chalet. It seemed that our every wish was their command. The chalet was clean and furnished in a way that I would have furnished my own- had I been lucky enough to have such a delightful place. "Staples" were stocked in the home, on an honor system. The chalet was located in a glorious part of NY- close to Lake Placid, Whiteface Mountain, and "The High Peaks"- a perfect area for outdoor activities. If we do not buy a place ourselves in that splendid area, we will certainly want to rent this marvelous Chalet again.
