Cedron Creek Park is only 7 mins away and they do not offer any day use. The house sits on two oversized lots. We have plenty of parking for boats and cars on the property. Thrust in the very center of Texas, Lake Whitney surrounds 37 square miles and includes 225 miles of shoreline ranging from towering white cliffs to sandy beaches. Whitney Dam is on the Brazos River 5.5 miles southwest of the town of Whitney, 29 miles north of Waco, 79 miles south of Fort Worth and 84 miles southwest of Dallas. Noted for its clear, blue water, and consistently voted one of the best lakes in Texas, Lake Whitney provides endless spots for fishing, skiing, boating, sailing, swimming, scuba diving, camping, picnicking, hiking, bird watching, and any other type of outdoor recreation.
