Description of the Wichita vacation home rental
We are just opening "Rosewood Place" for visitors and are excited to welcome you to stay and experience Wichita. Please inquire by email if you are unable to reach us by phone and we will respond promptly. Leave an answer on our answering machine if we are not home. Also, please send an email as sometimes it is hard to understand the messages left on the answering machine.
Our three bedroom, 2 bath home is available for a 3 night minimum, weekly, or monthly basis. It is located in Wichita, Kansas and very close to Andover, Kansas. The pool(Memorial Day-Labor Day) in the subdivision, small fishing lake, and jogging/hiking trails are other added benefits of staying in our home. There is a beautiful new YMCA close by if you are members of the Y. The neighborhood is quiet and the home has no neighbors behind with a beautiful view of farmland. Wichita is a very nice city with many things to do and a good stopping place as you travel north, south, east or west with its location in the south central U.S.

Area Information
Wichita is awesome. There are many restaurants, 2 large malls, unique shopping areas, museums, and the award winning Sedgewick County Zoo.
Botanica Gardens, beautiful parks, and not too far away lakes, Cheney and El Dorado are also places to visit. A brand new Cabelas just opened. Fifteen minutes away, Sand Creek Station is in the top 25 of the best municipal golf courses in the nation. We are also very close to Flint Hills National Golf Course. Some of the museums in Wichita are Old Cowtown, Exploration Place, Wichita Art Museum, Museum of World Treasures and Kansas Aviation Museum to name a few. Wichita boast several YMCAs, one which is located close to our home.We have roller and ice skating rinks, mini golf courses, and Starlite Drivein Theatre for the children. There is also Intrust Bank Arena, and Hartman Arena with their many attractions where you can purchase tickets before hand. There is the world famous Orpheum Theatre and Cabaret Old Town. We have Frog Holler Paintball and laser tag. Not too far from Wichita is Tanganyika Wildlife Park and Hutchinson with its Salt Mine Underground Museum and
Kansas Cosmosphere Space Museum. These are just some of things to do in Wichita area. So spend some time in the middle of the country and experience Wichita.

This home is perfect if you need a short term rental for several nights, a week, a month or longer for up to 4 people. Five may be allowed for rentals less than a week, but only beds for 4 are supplied.There are two queen beds and one twin. Our goal is to help you feel comfortable and have a home away from home while you travel or need temporary housing. Please send an email if you are interested in staying in the home as this is the best way to get in touch with us.
Our home is very comfortable and located in a quiet, safe neighborhood. It is very close to many smaller communities such as Andover, Rose Hill, Derby and the city of Wichita.
