Luxurious Powhatan Resort as low as $75/night (#22021)

Write a review We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The resort was great, good accommodation and facilities. As we came to visit Jamestown, which was just 5 minutes drive away, it was ideally situated for our holiday. When we walked into our condo, we couldn't believe how awesome the accomodations were. This was easily the nicest place we have ever stayed in and it cost far less than the Suite Hotel we stayed in for the first two nights of our trip. There is no doubt that -- if we ever travel back to Williamburg -- we will come back to Powhatan. A GREAT place to stay!!!! We had a wonderful time at Powhatan. The place was very clean and well equipped. The resort itself was very nice and the staff was very helpful. Overall our vacation was quite pleasant. I thought the place was great at a very good price. Would use this site again. thanks for a great vacation We had the 2 bedroom condo. It was 4 of us. My husband and I with our two kids. It was my son's 15th bday. We went to Busch Gardens, and Water Country. We went to the golf and go-kart place. We went to eat at several restaurants nearby- Olive Garden, and Ihop. We did not get to eat the the Restaurant at the resort.( no reason) We loved the pool and the hot tub. It was very very very very very clean. There was organized events and activities for the family every night. The whole resort was clean. Our condo was spotless. The price is very affordable. We would reccommend that to anyone. We are planning to go back. Thank you for making our stay wonderful. Our stay was great. The condo was very nice and comfy, having 2 baths was very helpful. The grounds were nice and the location was very convenient, about 15 minutes to beautiful Busch Gardens and the awesome water park Water Country USA. 10 minute drive to the Colonial Williamsburg Visitor Center. 5 minutes or less to alot of shopping and restaurants. We were so happy to be able to stay at Powhatan Plantation and take in all the wonderful things to do in the Williamsburg area (Colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens, Outlet Malls, etc) as well as enjoy the great amenities on the property. We felt we received a great value for what we spent. The timeshares are very nice and have everything you need to prepare meals in the kitchen. Comfortable beds, attractive furnishings and decorations, sheets and towels all provided, washer/dryer!! Thank you for helping to provide our family with a very memorable time---our daughter, a recent college grad, got engaged in Yorktown on the second night of our stay. Her "beau" had come down to visit us for a few days, and had OK'd his "plan" with her daddy! Happy memories!! We will recommend you to others! the resort was fantastic the condo itself could use some updates.we had alot planned outside of the resort(colonial,azalea festival,int.tattoo).next time we plan on spending more time at the resort less time running around.it seemed like you could spend your whole vacation there and never leave the resort! e thourghly enjoyed our stay in your unit would to come back to stay again. We were here for over two weeks and liked the area and the accomadation. The staff were helpful and if we had not had to ask for the air conditioning to be fixed when it was needed for the first hot day of the year would probably have given a 5 star rating, as it was it was sorted within an hour of our request. My family of four found this accomodations to be comfortable and convenient to Busch Gardens, Colonial Williamsburg and many of the historic sites. My son was really excited to see a hot tub in the back room of our condo. There was miniature golf available and an indoor pool. My only complaint was the young lady working in the children activity center. They did not have enough kits available for kids to purchase and she was a bit snippy. The two bedroom two bath condo was large enough but needed some updating. Overall the price was right. We read several reviews about this place. several were not so good. but we were pleasently suprised. It was beautiful. the staff was very friendly and it was like home away from home. convienely located What a fantastic week, So much to do on and off the resort. it could not have been better. Our rental was less than half what the resort charges and we could not have been more satisfied. We really enjoyed the beauty and space that we found in the Powhatan Resort. The accommodations were wonderful and we will always look to Diamond Resorts as a place to stay in all our future travels. We were unable to hook up to wireless internet in our room, but The Grill on property had a really comfortable place for computer users to access free wireless internet. This resort is beautiful from the moment you drive down the main driveway. A friendly staff greeted us at the front desk (after our 8 hour drive), the pool, and even the grounds crews we smiling. Upon arrival, our 2 year old was greeted by a friendly clown making balloon animals! So cute! The location can't be beat being 15 minutes from everything...the outlets, Busch Gardens, Water Country, and 7 minutes to Jamestown. The condo was perfectly clean, very spacious, the kitchen well appointed, and having 2 full baths was such a luxury. We feel very lucky to have had the chance to spend our vacation here. Having 4 pools was great. We used the toddler and family pools, I used the lap pool for an early morning workout, and having an adult only area was good for the other guests I'm sure. The deck and pools were spotless! We cannot say enough good things about this complex and would recommend it to anyone who was looking to stay in the area in the future. Great for families! Suite was very nice! Great place to stay! Close to the Williamsburg attractions too! The condo was very well kept and was gorgeous :-) The only downfall (and reason that we likely would not stay again) was that there were no elevators. As there was no availability on the first floor (or near the pool, which was our second request), we had to carry a weeks worth of stuff up 3 flights of stairs--- and with a baby having a crib, high chair, etc... it made for a lot of work! Overall, a gorgeous place, beautiful location---- but try to get first floor accommodations if possible! the resort was very nice and these guys helped me out with everything i needed! A++ renter
