Description of the Williamsburg vacation condo rental
DELUXE FEATURES: 1,016 square feet—over four times the size of a cramped hotel room. You will appreciate the privacy of a separate master bedroom with king bed, whirlpool tub, and separate shower; a second bedroom with queen bed and a second full bath; the luxury of a dining room and elegant living area with a queen sleeper sofa; the economy of a fully equipped private kitchen; and the convenience of a washer and dryer in the suite. In addition, although there are televisions in every room and WiFi throughout the resort, you can enjoy the sites off your private balcony as you relax in this vacation home away from home. Maximum occupancy is 6.
RESORT AMENITIES: 2 outdoor pools, indoor pool, hot tubs, two tennis courts, miniature golf, movie theater, recreational center with state-of-the-art video gaming, King’s Fare Tavern restaurant, playground, exercise equipment, and the Get Out & Play Activities Program. Kingsgate does charge a five dollar/per day activity fee, which includes all resort amenities plus WiFi throughout the resort.
The elegant Wyndham Kingsgate is located in the heart of Williamsburg. The décor and atmosphere of Kingsgate embodies the region’s Colonial spirit, and although furnished in the style of the period, it offers all the modern amenities and activities that will make your stay a very enjoyable experience. Pictures represent units available for rent at this resort and are not necessarily of the unit being rented, in case a previous guest leaves the condominium uninhabitable and the resort needs to move you. However, units are furnished similarly.
All linens provided (bedsheets, bath towels & Kitchen towels), hand soap, dish soap, laundry detergent, paper towels, toilet paper, coffee filters, shampoo & body wash, plastic trash bags and much more.

EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS!

We truly enjoyed staying at the Wyndham Kingsgate. Everything surpassed our expectations. The unit was extremely clean and looked almost brand new. The staff went above and beyond our expectations. We spent 3 nights in the Condo at Williamsburg! The resort is very nice and the 2 bedroom condo was exactly as advertised! It was very convenient to Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown. My grandson loved the game room as well as the mini-golf. We also used the indoor and outdoor pools. All in all a great experience!!!

We greatly enjoyed our stay here! It was very roomy and beautifully decorated. The beds were comfortable, and everything was (except for a tiny bit of mold in one of the showers) impeccably clean! The kitchen was very nice, and fully stocked with dishes and pans. We also enjoyed the swimming pool and miniature golf! This was a great place to stay, and we will plan to stay here whenever we are back in VA!

Two couples spent the week at this condo. The place was spotless. One BR had a King bed the other a full (all have the same bedding). Also an apartment size washer dryer. Each room had their own full bath making it convenient if you are staying with another family . The kitchen was fully equipped and all linens are provided. All furniture was in excellent condition. We didn't have any kids with us but would be great place for kids. Mini golf, tennis, pools, game room, free movies in a very nice little theater on site or cheap rentals for the room. Sporting Equipment use is included in the $5 activity fee. The owner was very nice, checking to be sure we had everything we needed and answered emails quickly. Quiet area yet near everything. Short drive to Williamsburg. Jamestown and Yorktown about 20 minutes or so down the colonial parkway - a very nice drive. We would highly recommend this condo to anyone in place of a hotel for the same or less than what one hotel room would cost.

I had never thought of renting a condo for a vacation before, and to be honest, I was a little nervous. We needed more room than one hotel room provided, but couldn't afford two rooms. So, I decided to try this route. Boy, did this work out for us! Steve reassured me that we would have a great time, and we did! Not only was the rental and the property more than we expected, but Steve's personal interest in our satisfaction prior, during, and after our stay was very reassuring. The property was very clean, the resort staff was extremely friendly, and the amenities were definitely 'resort like'. Our condo was sooo big, and everything was thought of, even the first pot of coffee and popcorn was provided. I would definitely stay at this property again, and look forward to booking another stay at one of Steve's properties in the near future.

Better than pictures can show

I rented this unit for a bridesmaids sleepover and a bridal shower. It was perfect! The unit was much nicer than what the pictures showed so we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were spacious. There were 3 bedrooms with King or Queen beds and 1 bedroom with doubles. Kitchen was huge. Just very nice overall. Would definitely do it again.

I wasn't sure what to expect and honestly, I was a little nervous about renting online especially an incredible condo sight unseen at such an affordable price from people I had never met. But, the condo is exactly what it says it is! It was sparkling clean and gorgeous! We have four children (18, 15, 13, and 3) and there was plenty of space for all of us. The fully equipped kitchen allowed us to make some meals at the resort so we didn't need to eat out as much. The condo has central air, a great stereo system, TVs in every room, private balcony, and beautiful furniture. We were so happy with the separate rooms and bathrooms! The amenities of the resort were also excellent. Prior to arriving we registered the kids online for different activities and that didn't seem to transfer to the Activities Desk, but was they were eager to accomodate us when I doublechecked. So be sure to do that! This is a vacation we will never forget. We were so pleased with our experience at the resort and especially with our condo - a home away from home. I knew we needed space so we weren't falling over one another, but also a place where we could be together comfortably as a family. It was perfect for us.

What an Excellent Choice

The condo was perfect for our visit to Williamsburg. It was clean, spacious, comfortable and convenient. Even the sleeper sofa got rave reviews from our teenage son. The kitchen was well appointed and we cooked several meals. The pools, tennis courts, arcade and fitness center were easily accessible. The washer and dryer were an added bonus. Steve was very helpful throughout the rental process and genuinely concerned that we enjoyed our stay. We will certainly stay again if it is available.

The condo in Williamsburg Virginia exceeded our expectations; there was many updates. There was also plenty of things for us to do as a family. Kingsgate in Williamsburg is an amazing resort. My family which includes, myself, husband, 2 adult children, daughter in law and grandson all had a wonderful time. The resort had 3 pools, hot tub, 2 game rooms with every gaming system and program you can imagine and you never had to put money in to play. Great for the young and old. Exercise room, A deli, poolside bar which was great on Karaoke nights at the pool. My 5 year old grandson loved the putt-putt golf course and they even had a movie theater. Besides all of this, the two bedroom condo was beautiful, very clean and spacious. We all want to back in the Fall for another mini vacation. We went sightseeing all over Williamsburg and when we came back we relaxed in one of the many pools. I would recommend this resort to all of my friends. The staff was friendly and courteous. In fact, we felt at home everywhere we went on the property.

My husband and I spent a week at this resort and absolutely loved it. The room was neat and very spacious. Even though it was just my husband and I, we loved the fact that we had 2 bathrooms; one for him and one for me! No waiting :) The staff were very helpful, polite and professional. Awesome experience from the time we arrived until the time we left! The staff was very friendly and helpful, any time we needed help they were there. The location of the condo could not have been better. We were in a 2 bedroom unit right across from the pool, miniature golf and activity center. They offer a ton of activities for all ages (movies, games DVD rentals, crafts, etc). Unfortunately the tennis courts were closed due to being resurfaced. We hope to be back again to use them soon. The complex is centrally located to all the attractions. Williamsburg is a couple miles away, Busch Gardens and Historic Jamestown both around 8 miles away. Steve was fantastic to work with and returned emails promptly. Highly recommend staying in this gated community for your next vacation and renting from Steve Fine. The Milioto Family

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this condo in Wiiliamsburg. The only negative thing I have to say is that our room was still being cleaned when we arrived, and we had to wait. Otherwise everything was to our satisfaction. Clean and well furnished. My daughter loved playing putt-putt on site.

Exceeded my expectations

We rented a two-bedroom deluxe condo that also had a pull-out bed in the living room. There were five of us staying there for the Christmas holidays. The unit was well appointed, tastefully decorated and comfortable with all of the standard amenities. We were able to cook our holiday dinner without issue in the kitchen using the provided pots, pans and other items. Each bedroom had a television with a wide screen television in the living room. There was ample closet and drawer space throughout the unit. Kingsgate is also strategically located off of Richmond Highway and we found it quite easy to get to just about any place in Williamsburg of interest. There's also a plethera of shopping and restaurants. We had occasion to contact maintenance for a minor item and the response was fast and efficient. The only criticism we had was with the water pressure and length of time it took to get hot water for our morning routines. We enjoyed our stay and plan to do so again.

Wonderful Stay at Whndham

My husband, toddler and father stayed at Wyndham Kingsgate for a week in Oct. The condo had two bedrooms, was on the third floor, and overlooked a nice pond. When we arrived to check in we were invited to a "free" breakfast (timeshare sale) which we politely declined and it was no problem. The grounds and facilities were excellent! We used the plaground, indoor pool, and gameroom. They offer a nice selection of activities each day such as current movie showings, karoke, build a stuffed animal, and even wine tasting for the adults. The condo was extremely clean and updated. The master bedroom was very large and the pack and play we brought for our daughter fit with much room to spare. The bathrooms and kitchen have granite counters and the livingroom has a wall of windows that overlook the balcony and pond. We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation and if we're ever in the area again would love to stay here again!!! Also the owner was easy and efficient to work with. Thanks Steve for your hospitality!

The Wyndham Kingsgate condo's are very conveniently located for visiting Williamsburg and the surrounding historic area. They are also close to restaurants and shopping if you want to include that in your stay. The condo was very spacious with a well equipped full kitchen. The Wyndham staff was very helpful and friendly. Especially when we enjoyed the hot tub and pool area. They furnish towels and even locks for the lockers in the changing area. It was fun to relax at the resort and play miniature golf after a day of visiting the historic areas. Steve was great to work with. He promptly replied to emails and answered all of our questions. I will definitely rent from him again in the future.

From booking the accommodations with Steve until departing the resort, our experience was wonderful! We had the pleasure of staying at Governor's Green during our trip to Williamsburg and were extremely pleased with the resort. It really exceeded our expectations. Our unit was a 3 bedroom (for our 2 families: 4 adults and 3 children -13, 7, 4) that was very spacious and comfortable. The condo offered all of the utensils as well as some necessities to use the appliances during the stay which was very convenient. The daily activities and amenities of the resort were great, offering something for every age group in our family. In fact, we actually couldn't fit everything in that we wanted to do. The staff were very attentive and always helpful. The location of Governor's Green is ideal. It is right in the heart of most every attraction we planned to do while there and is very convenient to many shops, restaurants and activities. We can't wait to plan a return trip to Williamsburg and plan to always go through Steve for our accommodations. It was such a pleasure!! Thank you for being part of great memories!

My family thoroughly enjoyed our vacation at the Wyndham Kingsgate. The grounds were very well kept and my kids, even my adult kids 18 and 21, especially enjoyed the arcade and the mini golf. I would definitely book with Steve again. He is responds to all my e-mails promptly and also helped alleviate some of my fears of renting on the internet since I am always so anxious about doing so. My family really enjoyed themselves especially since a lot of places were closed due to the hurricane. We would definitely do it again, Thanks Steve!

GREATEST VACATION EVER

Trying to cover items for a family of 6 ( 4 college kids) was difficult. The location of Govenors Greens was perfect we accessed Colonial Downs Racetrack (spouse) Bush Gardens and Water Country, the prime Outlets even local food store and movie,and a tone more stuff. The condo was amazing had every amenity we could ask for. The spaciousness was more than expected. The resort staff was always above and beyond in all. All of us enjoyed working out daily and swimming in the pools. The kids tried out tennis ( found a new love) played minature golf and we all walked the grounds alot for evening or early morning strolls. I would highly recommend Govenors Green to any Family or even a couple for a get a way. Plenty to do lots of history and you feel like you are on a vactation but with the comforts of home..Just wished we could have stayed longer than the week. Will deffinetly be back. Rumor has it the family wants this to be their vacation every year..

My family (6 members, including 2 grandchildren) stayed at this location for a week's vacation and were very pleased. The condo was beautiful and the resort offered so many extras. It was extremely hot during this period so the pool was an extremely popular attraction. Although many people were there, the pool was large enough for everyone to have fun. Also, the location of the condo was perfect -- close to Historic Williamsburg, Busch Gardens and Water Country USA. I highly recommend this rental property and we are seriously considering a vacation at one of the other properties.

We rented the two bedroom condo and had plenty of room for six ppl. No problems with parking and the resort was gated. We had a full kitchen with everything we needed for the vacation (except charcoal for the grills). The room was very clean and updated. Beds were large and comfortable! Staff was very friendly and helpful-even lifing the gate when it was raining so that we didn't get wet using our room card. We played tennis, swam, used the gym and game room during our stay. My kids and I loved it and would definately recommend it to anyone.

The condo was in very good condition, very clean and modern. It has a full kitchen, everything you needed. The complex it self was awesome, I have two boys 9 and 14, soo much to do onsite for both of them, there is 3 pools( there is daily activities at the pools karoake, Wii contests, etc.), Beach towels are also provided for your use at the pool daily, also there is two open game rooms(no money needed), ps3 and Wii rentals, Dvd rentals on site, Tennis courts, and of course a free mini golf course on site, Daily movies in their own Theatre, so much to do on site. Busch Gardens and Water Country is about 10 minutes away, as is Williamsburg, Yankee Candle, many shops and restaurants. The staff was very polite and helpful when you needed them. Steve was great to work with, no problems, the only disappointment was the Wi Fi was not good at all in our unit. In the activities center on site there was computers that you could also use. I rented a 2BR deluxe, ther was six of us and we had plenty of room, there is a charcoal grill out back that you can also use or reserve their gazebo with a gas grill and picnic table, this was great, also free. The master bathroom ony had a walkin shower the jacuzzi tub was removed, but the second bathroom had a full tub and shower. I would definitely rent again from Steve, Thanks again for a great vacation!!!!!

Great place to spend time with the family. The resort provides so much entertainment you don't want to leave. The condo was great, clean, neat, and near all the attractions. Staff was pleasant and accomodating.

We stayed in a Condo in Wyndham Kingsgate in Williamsburg VA. This is a gated community which is a plus to begin with. Everyone was super nice and the ammenities were great. It's nice to lay your head down at night and know there is someone out there working, to make sure someone that don't belong there comes into the gate. We had access to a Steam Room, Gym, Indoor and outdoor pool, hot tub and there is a pool just for the adults. They also have put put. The price was real good for a weeks stay. Just for your information, we visited a place while we were there that has Condo's for sale. I would much rather stay where we did. If you're planning a stay in Williamsburg in the future, just check them out. If I return to Williamsburg I will stay at Wyndham.

Wonderful Accommodations at a Great Resort

The condo was all that we expected and more. The room was well furnished with new furniture and bed linens, and it was very close to the pool and activity center for the resort. It was an easy walk even with three young children to the pool. The resort staff was very helpful and the landscaping was beautiful. My kids really enjoyed the pool and putt-putt (which was included), and the deck was very relaxing. The only negative was the size of the shower in the master bath--a corner shower that was a little cramped. Overall, a great experience!

My family stayed at Kingsgate for spring break and had a great time. We didn't take advantage of many of the amenities because our schedule was packed with historic site visits. However, we did spend a lot of time at the pool and got in some tennis. The suites were great and were way more than enough space for our needs (8 of us in 2 condos) plus both suites were together. The location is central to everything which was also nice.

Fantastic experience. Very friendly and alway's helpful staff. Place had everything we needed and then some. Will recommend this to everyone I know and will stay here again on our next trip to Williamsburg. Our kids were never bored and thats a BIG plus. centrally located for food, shopping, and park access. Steve Fine was amazing to deal with.
