Description of the Willow Creek vacation home rental
Trinity River is renown for swimming, rafting and fishing (steelhead & salmon). Cabin is on quiet country road 5 miles from town which has restaurants, store, video rental, clinic, golf course, public tennis court. A gentle trail to the river is unique in this area, just 300 feet, see photo. Our rentals is comfortable and relaxing, and has everything you will need, except the food! Day trips to coastal beaches and Redwood National Park. Willow Creek is on Hwy 299 one hour east of Arcata. Great any time of year, spring and fall are lovely! Kayakers and rafters also enjoy staying here.
Area Description
Willow Creek is 45 miles from the coast at Arcata, California. This inland valley was created by the scenic Trinity River. A peaceful town with all the services you might need, the cabin in located just 5 miles away on a quiet back road. Guests have enjoyed day trips of hiking, biking, rafting and all water sports, and gone to the coast to see the redwoods and beaches etc.
