We stayed here to celebrate my son's graduation from Texas State. It was perfect, everyone enjoyed themselves and we had plenty of room. We enjoyed the town of Wimberley, the deer in the yard, the awesome outdoor patio area...just everything. Set up perfectly to handle meals and time to just hang out.

We loved our stay at Lonesome Dove- FANTASTIC place with everything we needed- it is close enough to town but not too close as we wanted a quiet getaway- the gazebo made our peaceful & intimate dinners more relaxing- we work very hard every day & this place was JUST WHAT WE NEEDED- WE WILL BE BACK thank you so much for a wonderful stay!!!

I really loved staying at the Lonesome Dove. It's in a beautiful spot across from a river and a few blocks from "downtown." I didn't really realize that the place is essentially 4 stand-alone, resort-type bedrooms with a big dining-room-kitchen-living-room thing in the middle (with two rooms directly connected to this and two rooms with separate entrances). There was lots of room and decor was awesomely Texan. We went toobing and it was pretty close by. Mike is really easy to work with and responsive. One caution - Google Maps gets you pretty close, but you need to use the directions to get to the parking area from River Road. It's weird and not really on River Road.

"The Landa family had a very nice stay."
