Description of the Windham vacation cottage rental
Completely furnished cottage on secluded Banjo Cove on Little Sebago Lake, one of the cleanest lakes in Maine. Great fishing, sandy swimming with dock and float. Bring your own boat (up to 20 ft.) and launch it right on the property. Just bring the food and pillows; everything else is right here!
Great waterfront with playset for the kids, horseshoeing, volleyball and croquet. Just 6 mi. from exit 63 and 4 mi. from great shopping and dining in N. Windham. Also, some of the best golf in New England at nearby Spring Meadows CC or Point Sebago.
The cottage had been completely remodeled and features two bedrooms, another "bunk room" overlooking the lake that sleeps 2, a den/dining room, and a family room. There's even a 27" Sony with Time Warner cable. All utilities are included.
Sorry, no dogs in the cottage but may be kept tethered outside. Cats OK.
Area Description
N. Windham is the shopping and vacation mecca for Maine's lake region. With dozens of great reastaurants, theaters, go karting and mini golf, The Home Depot, Lowes, Wal Mart, Shaws and Hannaford Supermarkets, and much more, you'll find everything you need just a few miles from the cottage.
Or, the Maine Mall, Freeport and L. L. Bean are just a half-hour away. The western mountains are a 35 min. drive, and Casco Bay and Portland only 40 minutes.
