Description of the Windham vacation home rental

This charming lake front home is located in Windham, ME on beautiful Forest Lake. Recently renovated and fully furnished, the home has hardwood floors throughout and new bathrooms with jacuzzi tubs. Double french doors on the main floor and floor to ceiling windows in the upstairs bedrooms provide breathtaking views of the lake. Queen beds in 2 upstairs bedrooms, bunkbeds in finished basement (which also has water views and living area with couch and TV), and a futon in the loft area. Cable TV with DVD player in living area and master bedroom. Books, magazines, games, and DVDs are also available. Linens and towels are provided. Washer/Dryer in walkout basement. Full kitchen is equipped with microwave, coffee maker, toaster, dishes and utensils, and dishwasher. Enjoy BBQ's on the deck, the dock to relax on the water, and the outside fireplace. Gas grill, patio set, canoe, picnic table and hammock also outside. Wireless internet. Sorry, no smoking and no pets.

Area Description

Quiet area on a private dirt road. Close to local attractions, Portland Jetport, restaurants and stores.

I cannot say enough about this home. It is immaculate, roomy, comfortable. The jacuzzi tubs were AWESOME! Not to mention, the private access to the lake and a dock perfect for fishing or sun bathing. Portland was only about a 20 minute drive away, so we were still able to have fun in the city and by the ocean! It was a great family vacation.

We had a lovely time staying at this home. It had everything provided for a relaxing and comfortable stay. It's close to Portland, making trips in and out very quick and easy. The home is well kept and cheery. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking our meals, including large pots for lobster boils and making chowders and bisques. Though it was too chilly for swimming, there were water floats and beach towels to use, and a lovely hammock down by the lake.
We had a great time, and would definitely recommend this charming home!
