House has charming porch in front and two decks in back. a detached two car garage with adjacent studio for artists or a play area for children on rainy days. Studio has a wood burning stove.

Area Description

Land is mostly cleared affording spectacular views and some incredibly beautiful sunrises. Adjacent to the seven acres are private and state owned land with little development. There are some farms nearby.
The property is ideal for the city dweller who is seeking a truly different environment away from the traffic and noise of the cities and just a little removed from the tourist area.
Also ideal for a family who wants to relax in an environment where the children can play outdoors and explore nature. There is some wildlife. We have wild turkeys and deer.
The vistas here make it most desirable for the plein air artist. The Catskills has long been the subject of some memorable landscapes, being the homes of Thomas Cole and Frederick Church among many others. The studio offers a place to finish your painting indoors or to paint on rainy days.
Our town has a very small population but a lovely supermarket is a short distance away.

Area abounds in Antique Stores. Hudson is about 45 minutes away for avid antiquers. NY electric authority has a park and swimming pool and an exhibit of how power plants operate. There are many exquisite golf courses in area. Windham Country Club and Christman's golf course are close by.
