One of the State's largest and best known lakes, Highland Lake is over three miles in length, 444 acres in area, and nine miles of waterfront. Highland lake offers great boating, fishing, and two beaches for swimming, making it popular with residents, weekenders, and tourists alike. Highland Lake is one of the most beautiful undiscovered lakes in New England and makes for a wonderfully peaceful and relaxing getaway. The property is tucked down a long driveway away from the road and offers a spectacular full view of the lake. Have your morning coffee on the back porch watching the steam roll off of the water as birds sail overhead. There is very little activity on the lake in the morning and evenings. The spectacular sunsets upstage the peaceful beauty of the mornings with the light sparkling across the lake as far as the eye can see and the most beautiful sky overhead. No two are alike.
