Large Lake Home includes boats & great fishing!

All set up for FUN! Included with your stay is a pontoon-paddleboat and row boat and firewood for your campfires! This newer home is immaculate, spacious and packed with all the amenities you'd expect, and then some.

The huge green yard allows room to play outdoor games and sit around the campfire. Your firewood is provided at no extra charge.
You'll find decks of cards and board games to play inside and outside toys for your enjoyment.

You can enjoy the view from the large lakeside deck,and grill near the picnic table on the patio,as you watch out at the lake.
Enjoy your private 52' dock. Launch your own boat at the nearby boat launch, or rent one from us.
Picnic table and plenty of lawn chairs are provided.

A Fisherman's Deluxe Pontoon and/or a 14' fishing boat w/15hp motor are available to rent during your stay.
Also are two user-friendly kayaks to add to the fun.

Lake Winter is 675 Acres of sparkling beauty. Pine trees line its shores. It is not a busy lake. Most boats you'll see are quietly fishing or pontoons enjoying a slow cruise.

You'll have direct access to the Tuscobia State Trail, right from your door!The multi-use trail provides for ATV, snowmobiles, hiking and biking. The Tuscobia Trail leads to several more well maintained trails in beautiful Sawyer County.

The quiet country roads leading to your long, private driveway, also are designated walking and bicycling trails.
This wooded area puts you in the laid back "Northwoods Attitude" that you will appreciate.

Lake Winter has great fishing for Musky, walleye, bass, bluegill, crappie and more. Boat traffic on the Lake is mainly fishing boats and pontoons.

You may not want or need to go anywhere, but if you do, the little Village of Winter, is just two miles down the road.
There you will find a grocery store, gas stations, bait shops, a bank, a library, restaurants & pubs and a Park! (you could even get there on your ATV!)

There are numerous Festivals and Events held in this area. Some of which are the 'Spring Fling!' held on Memorial Day weekend, an Arts & Crafts Sales on Main Street with a huge Car & Motorcycle Show!
The annual 'July Jubilee' on the 4th, with a parade,then games,live music & fun in the park and of course, a great Fireworks display!

The fine dining in the area is unbeatable including the Famous Friday Night Fish Frys.

You are also just 30 minutes away from the attractions of Hayward, WI.. Watch a powwow, a Lumberjack Show, Museums, Zoo, shopping, Casino, mini golf and more!

Sawyer County is also known as the 'Golf Capitol of Northern Wisconsin.' There are 2 golf courses within 10 minutes of the home.

The County also boasts to have more than 500 miles of ATV and snowmobiling trails.

Excellent Hunting area for Deer, Bear, Birds, Grouse, Woodcock, Turkey.

Near the Cheqaumegon State forest and the Chippewa Flowage, fishing and hunting is abundant. Cross Country Ski Trails.
Kayaking and Canoeing on the Chippewa and Flambeau Rivers.
