Excellent House

This house was perfect for our summer getaway. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is more than adequate, and the living is set up for family gatherings. My kids enjoyed the ping pong/air hockey/pool table. The patio is great for reading and relaxing. We had a nice time hiking and taking advantage of everything that Wintergreen offers.

This cabin is nestled in a quiet mountain niche, surrounded by trees and birdsong. There is a deck to enjoy the sounds of nature. Inside, there are two large living areas open to the kitchen which allowed our family to visit together and enjoy separate conversations. The owner is very pleasant to deal with. Overall, a lovely experience!

We enjoyed this beautiful vacation home for a long Thanksgiving weekend. The views were amazing and the house was fully-loaded and stocked for comfort beyond our imagination. We greatly enjoyed all the sponge pottery that we needed for serving our Thanksgiving feast. So nice and very handy! We also loved the multi-level outside decks--perfect for enjoying a cup of tea with a good book. The activities at the Wintergreen Resort were tons of fun for the kids. This vacation home was a perfect spot for our family and extended family to celebrate the holidays. The house was really and truly a home away from home. Thank you! We spent four days relaxing, talking, taking walks to admire the mountaintop views, playing games, snacking, feasting and watching classic Christmas movies that we brought with us.

If you want to go to Wintergreen, this is the place to stay. Comfortable and convenient for large families or multiple couples. The house was even better than the pictures and descriptions. Two large great rooms came in handy when some wanted to watch the game and others wanted to play video games. Very unlike most rental houses...this was very well decorated and stocked (home away from home!). The owner (Mike) was an excellent communicator and exceeded all expectations...can't wait to go back.

Went to Wintergreen for our Christmas Holiday. (4 Teens and 2 adults ). House has plenty of room. The two living rooms gave us plenty of room to spread out and watch TV at night. House is very clean, nicely furnished. Not the typical rental.. lots of their "stuff" is there which gives it a real homey feel. Close to the lodge.. not quite walking distance since it is hilly and there is not a sidewalk. Driveway is flat so you can park if there is snow or ice. Ski passes saved us 20% which added up. Mike the owner was very nice.

My husband, 10 year old grandson and I spent a wonderful week at this beautiful home, with all its amenities and great vistas. The house is a home and we enjoyed every aspect of it. The affiliation with Stony Creek and the lake added to the pleasures. My grandson wanted to know if we could live there. We appreciated the mornings on the deck, the wildlife and the serenity of the area as we walked our dog. It is an area to take advantage of the wineries, the fruit picking and the wonderful farmers' markets. Late summer was a great time to enjoy the mountain.

Our vacation stay at this place was wonderfully relaxing. The weather was perfect so we enjoyed a lot of pool time. We thoroughly enjoyed some hikes and a chance to see some wildlife. The house was well equipped for all of our needs. The Coppermine Restaurant for breakfast was fabulous.

Nice large home in the woods. Easy access with views of the woods but mountain views are nearby. Home is very well stocked with utensils and small appliances & all comforts of home away from home. Better than acceptably clean & maintained. Owner was very accomodating and friendly; calling us the first day to see if all was okay. Very easy and smooth rental experience. Great location to skiing, etc.
