Description of the Winthrop vacation cottage rental

On a point with views of nine mile long lake. Over 200 feet of frontage on a pebble beach.

Glassed-in porch, as well as an open porch. Upstairs has on open deck off of the master bedroom. Gas grill. Great bass fishing, along with perch and pickerel. Loons, osprey, great blue herons and eagles.
Boat mooring and small dock. Separate dining room and family room along with updated kitchen and baths.

Maximum number of sleeping guests is six.

Wireless Internet is available in the cottage.

Pets are accepted on a case by case basis. Please check before securing a reservation.

The week of August 31st => September 7th is discounted to $850.00, plus the State of Maine Lodging Tax of 7%.

Area Information

Cobbossee or Cobbosseecontee Lake is one of Central Maine's most popular lakes. The lake is some nine miles long and even features its very own lighthouse. The lake has numerous islands and is quite popular with canoeists and kayakers alike.

The cottage is only a twenty minute drive to the capital city of Augusta with plenty of shopping and all the popular restaurants.

The City of Portland is just an hour away, as are many of the coastal destinations.
