Description of the Winthrop vacation cottage rental

This is an older well kept cottage with many updates. It is located on one of Central Maine's most popular lakes. Cobbossee (a.k.a. Cobbosseecontee) Lake is nine miles long with numerous islands and even has its very own lighthouse!

The cottage is located near the water's edge on the North Shore and has incredible views of the lake. The two story cottage has four bedrooms: two upstairs and two on the first floor. The kitchen, living room, dining area are also located on the first floor.

Area Information

Cobbossee Lake is popular with fishermen and all types of boaters. The cottage is located a short drive (15 - 20 minutes) from Augusta, the state capital. There you will find many of the major stores and most of the chain restaurants. The Mid-Coast of Maine as well as the city of Portland are about an hour's drive.
