Description of the Wisconsin Dells vacation cabin rental
It is fully furnished. The living room has a gas fireplace and a TV for DVD viewing only(no cable). There is a nice selection of dvds in the cabin.
You just need to bring your clothes and food.
It’s a great place for a relaxing get-away!
Enjoy the changing seasons and a campfire.
Bring along some friends.

Only 24 miles north of Wisc Dells, home of the world's largest water parks!
Zip Lines, ride the DUCKS, or enjoy miniature golf!
Lots to do and see in Wisc Dells!!!!
Swimming beach on Friendship Lake, 3 miles from cabin.
This lake is great for canoes and kayaking, also fishing.
Children's play park across the street.
Close to Castle Rock Lake and Pettenwell Lake, 4th and 2nd largest lakes in Wisconsin. Great fishing for walley, northern, crappie, pan fish, even musky.

There will be some Barnwood Furniture and Log Furniture, a lot of barn find items I've found over the years. Fresh Produce from a local greenhouse.
If you're staying somewhere else and might need a place to lay your head next time stop by and reserve a Cabin/Cottage.

Many area Restaurants and Sports Bars, one local watering hole even has a Monday night Bluegrass band from 7-9. (If you play - they will let you join in)
When the weather is nice they play outside.

This cabin is the perfect place to get away for a few days. The cabin itself has good space, and Carl & Roxann did an amazing job decorating it. As time goes on, you notice more and more detail. There is space for dogs to run around and explore. Plenty of parks/outdoor activities nearby both in summer and winter.

☺ LOVE LOVE LOVE, ♥ It was so Peaceful & Quiet. It was a very nice layout for a cabin, very cozy. I wouldnt change a thing. This cabin is wonderful! The web site photos do not come close to conveying the overall aesthetic. The attention to detail throughout the cabin really contributes to a positive experience. The construction is tight: no creaky floorboards, great water pressure, nice lighting. The place has character, too. I loved the high quality Northwoods knicknack decor, the custom, hand made furniture, and the grounds were splendid. My only possible suggested enhancement would be to upgrade the wobbly master bed and add higher quality, warmer bedding. The owner couldn't be more charming and his insight on the area added to our experience (Thanks, Carl!)

Just got back from our stay at the Timbered Treasure. Had a wonderful time at this very unique cabin. Very cozy and stocked with just about anything you could possibly need. Will be back next winter for sure! We have a place right down the road, but it's more of a summer getaway. My wife and I needed a short vacation from kids, dogs, society etc. It was short notice but Carl and Roxann took care of us and we had the most wonderful time at the Timbered Treasure. After leaving my wife and I never mentioned coming back again, however during our conversation it just seemed natural that we will and I can't wait. If any of you are pilots there is a small airport only a block from the cabin in Adams-Freindship. (No you can't hear the planes becuase they are large blocks and it's all wooded.) It would be a perfect get away!

The Timbered Treasure is a wonderful place to get away from the daily grind. It has a spacious open floorplan that is cozy but not cramped. We spent evenings in front of the fireplace playing games and watching movies. My kids loved sleeping in the spacious loft and everyone enjoyed the rustic decor. The cabin's location is nicely secluded but shopping and restaurants are within a five minute drive. We enjoyed sampling the area restaurants and found the locals to be extremely inviting. We will recommend it to our friends and will return at the earliest opportunity.

Carl's Cabins is a wonderfully well kept, thoughtfully decorated place. The couple even provided towels for the guests. I used the jaccuzi in the bathtub, after sitting out by the well stocked firepit. I wish we could have been there a week or longer...

In a word amazing.. Carl did such a nice job on this cabin it is definately one of a kind. We were celebrating our anniversary and this cabin and didn't see another soul the whole time we were there...We were visited by a squirrel..and mama and baby deer...and at night we had a campfire and listened to the coyotes howl..it was awesome!!!! Met up with other family from MN, great location for all of us. Carl has a great cabin that makes you feel that you are secluded in the middle of no where when really you are only a mile or so out of town. The decor in the cabin will keep your eyes roaming your entire stay always finding something new. This place has everything, you only need to bring your clothes and food. A Fantastic Get Away

The Timbered Treasure cabin was everything we had hoped for. It was wonderfully decorated, impeccably clean, and most importantly had a hand-crafted charm that set the perfect ambiance for our stay. The gas fire place and lighting made the open-concept quite cozy. Also, the kitchen was perfect for our 'night in' as all amenities were provided. Carl was waiting for us when we arrived and made us feel right at home. He even took the time to make a follow-up call ensuring our stay was great. We are looking forward to coming back in the spring & summer when the winter weather receeds. Thank you very much Carl!

Carl met us at the door and showed us around. We've stayed in cabins in Door County and this place is a mansion compared to those. There were 7 of us, sharing great a time, but there was plenty of room for everyone to get away from each other inside was well. We spent several hours just looking at all the decorating that was done. Not a detail was missed - the necessities are there and more. Crock pot, casserole dishes, spices... it’s like walking into someone's home and settling in. The temps went from 40 down to 0 over night. We never noticed as the cabin was warm and cozy. Plenty of movies to watch and games to play (all included with the cabin). We brought a Wii and some games of our own and rang in the New Year properly. We thought we were going to miss watching TV, but the Badgers lost the Rose Bowl anyways, so we didn’t mind. Seriously, you are not going to believe how well furnished and stocked this cabin it. Thanks Carl for a great time, we would highly recommend this place.

The setting is beautiful, the cabin quaint beyond description. The minute you step in the front door you feel like you "are away from it all" This cabin is suitable for families or a romantic get away. It is very well equiped and comfortable. We visited another cabin in Door County a month ago which didn't compare with this cabin at all, nor did the area, which was grossly over rated. Adams on the other hand is unique, allowing for isolation if you desire or lots of activities a short drive away. Well done Carl, your location and your cabin has it all! We are already looking forward to our second visit in 3 months time!

We chose Carl's cabin because of the photo of the adirondack chairs out back,and just wanted to escape our crazy life in Chicago for a bit,but we had the vacation of our dreams. Carl waited for us late in the evening,welcomed us in the beautiful cabin (photos do not do it any justice) and even told us a little about the construction and history of the pieces he had made. Every day we'd wake to beautiful light straining through the windows,had our coffee outback,we let our dog run free through the woods;we grilled and built a campfire one night and when you come here,especially from a big city,you'll remember how the stars really look at night...the cabin is secluded and surrounded by trees and extremely peaceful. Really impressive is how clean everything is inside,the beds,the dishes-you'll find everything,pots,pans,plates and bowls,knives,all.We kept calling each other to share what else we found,like all the tractors( :-D) and the pheasant stripe in the bathroom..and we admired the coffee table and dining table Carl made and the fireplace lined in stone,we spent peaceful evenings in front of it. We were talking about making this our permanent getaway,we'll return there anytime we'll get a chance.

Perfect in every way

Carl's cabin is the perfect get away. Your 1/2 hour from the Dells but when your at the cabin it seems like your hundreds of miles away. Carl is an excellent host, nice but gives you your space. You feel like you are staying at someone's spotless home. The photos do not duplicate the apsolutely unique and charming character of the cabin. The decorating is beyond compare. Everything is hand made and well crafted-with so much thought in every detail. The cabin has everything you need, a full kitchen where you can cook gourmet meals (We saved lots of $$ eating in and not in the Dells. A full grocery store is minutes away. Our family had a great time. We would stay there again and recommend it to anyone.

My family and I went for Memorial Day Weekend this year to leave the city for a while. The cabin so rustic and the place was such a tranquil area. It was wonderful being able to make s'mores while surrounded by the trees in the late night. A beautiful little cabin that I would go to again and would recommend to anyone!
