i really like staying in affordable christmas mountain we had a great time but the only thing i didnt like is that we had to pay for the activities my children had to do and we also had to pay for playing golf, but other than that is was wonderful and everything was so clean. i will go again, and my children are asking me when are we going again for a longer time

We stayed at the above cottage on February 1 & 2 leaving February 3rd. We were there with our granddaughter for the winter carnival. All went well while we were there. We used the water park and enjoyed a great time there. The cottage had a few repairs needed (new fireplace screen and repair on noisy refrigerator). We told the front desk as we left and they seemed to appreciate our input. My family is thinking of having a family reunion this summer and we were going to suggest that we have it at Christmas Mountain. We rent there every year for the winter carnival and are never displeased with our decision to go back.

Glad you has a good time. The entire resort is being removated over a 3 year period. 1/3 will be done this spring. So in the future you do have the possibily of getting a newly renovated unit

Yes, Christmas Mountain has provided affordable rental that I believe would accomodate my family and I, however we were not able to keep our reservation for July. We are looking forward to a stay at Christmas mountain in the near future.

This was our 1st time at CM and we had a great time. The grounds were clean and well kept. The pools were clean and well maintained. We stayed in the cottages, they were clean but could have been updated alittle. My family and I will defiantly be returning.

The cottages are scheduled for an update starting late fall, it will take 3 years to finish them all.

Everything was fine except I am not a driver and could not get around on my budget. I thought there would be a shuttle to the dells area .y child wanted to explore more the the grounds. For my life style I would have fared better with younger chuldren. I also like service while vacationing and taking out trash ect did not please me . I enjoy hotels more. Do you have anything in the springfeild area (STATE FAIR) I plan to go August 17 for 2 or 3 nights . Please respond yes or no. Thank you You have a nice set up . I just need to bring a driver next time.

Sorry this did not work for you. There are many free planned activities at the resort. You do need a vehicle to go the 4 miles into the dells if you want off site activities.
Our units are larger than a hotel, have kitchens which saves money if you bring your own groceries. Pick up groceries on your way in to save gas. You do not have daily room cleaning. You are welcome to get clean towels every day if you exchange them.
This type of set up is not for everyone but is nice for families that want privacy.

We rented the cottage for our family getaway weekend. We stayed there from Friday to Sunday. I was extremely impressed with the cottage, it was very cozy and clean. Another great perk was having access to the whole resort at no additional charge, swimming pools, golf, pedal boats etc.

My husband and I went here for a little weekend getaway and it was just what we needed for a weekend of relaxation. The cabin was very cute and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed the fireplace in the living room. Christmas Mountain Village registration was very nice and the concierge was helpful. I would definitely stay here again :)

We stayed in one of the 2 bedroom, 2 bath units and it was WONDERFUL!!! beyond our dreams. The unit was clean, comfortable and had EVERYTHING you needed in it! We had never stayed here before but we will definately come back and stay again!! Thank you for a wonderful fun filled vacation.

My husband and I were looking for a cozy, quiet, yet picturesque getaway for our 13th anniversary. This cottage was everything we hoped it would be and more. It was very clean, cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed a relaxing time and fires every night in the fireplace. We also enjoyed quiet walks on the pretty grounds. The view from the living room windows was beautiful with the snow and trees. Would like to go again sometime and maybe take the kids tubing.

A big Thank you to Sheri for saving our vacation! My girlfriend and I were meeting up in WI and were already on the road when we found out the place we originally rented was not what we were planning on. I called Sheri from the road and she graciously dropped everything and helped us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at CMV. The cottage had everything we needed and was very clean. My Girlfriend And I Took The Kids On A Mini Trip Without The Men For A Long Weekend And We Really Had A Great Relaxing Time. The Resort Is Beautiful And Peacful With Many Activities To Keep The Children Happy And A Great Pool Area And Hot Tub. The Fireplace In Our Cottage Was So Relaxing. We Really Enjoyed It And Would Reccommend It To Everyone Especially For The Price!!!

my sister and i went to christmas mt. to catch up on lost time for we had lost contact with one another for 5 years.i rented the 2 bedroom 1 bath cottage and simply put,we both fell in love with this HOME away from home.the cottage was just wonderful.very clean,comfortable,and fully supplied.christmas mountain resort was a dream and then some!the entire staff at the resort were so friendly and felt as tho we knew them our whole life.at this resort there is absolutly nothing you could want for,it is all there.i didn't want to leave.i am anxious to visit in the end of summer months hopefully for i love to golf and if the golf course is anything like the ski slopes i know a treat awaits me and whom ever i will take with me.i know i will return!!!

We stayed at Christmas Mountain in the Timbers. The unit was beautiful and very spacious. The whirlpool bath and fireplace were also nice additions. We also enjoyed the outdoor screen porch, even though it was cold out. The Timbers area is very quiet and picturesque, set away from the main resort area. The staff were great. They were helpful in upgrading us to this unit from the cottages when we arrived. We had a maintenance issue with the fireplace and someone was down to help us out within 10 minutes. Sheri was great through the rental process. It was very quick and easy. We definitely recommend a stay here; we had a great experience.

Thank you for the great rentals! We just returned from our vacation late last night, and I wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful time! Both units were exactly as expected.
You are correct that the size of the Timbers unit (Oaks unit?) was small. I would say that 900 square feet is a generous estimate. However, we stayed in the Timbers last year, too, and I think it is our favorite part of the resort. We really enjoyed being so close to a pool and playground area, and the smaller number of vacationers in that area makes it a nice, quiet place.
I was pleased to see that you had refunded my deposits on both units by the time I returned home. Thanks for the great service!

We are back from our vacation in the Dells. My family had the best time! Christmas Mountain Village was gorgeous, though our accommodations (the Cottages) weren't nearly as nice as the others (the Timbers, Oaks, etc.) The Cottages appeared to be older than the other facilities, and were a little dated. But it was clean and comfortable, which is what I was most concerned about. The resort gave us free tickets to Mt. Olympus water park (a main attraction of the Dells) and were helpful in other ways. The resort offered free activities such as mini golf, paddle boats, etc., and had organized family activities such as kickball. My husband and son had a "ball" playing kickball with others at the resort. There were a lot of activities at the club house. My daughter had been asking me for weeks to take her to Build-a-Bear (not sure if you've heard of it), and I never found time to do it until we found out that the resort was offering it as one of its activities (we had to pay for it). There we two kids in the cottage next door to ours, and my kids played with them quite a bit. And of course we had a great time taking advantage of the off-site Dells activities. I absolutely loved this vacation. My kids did, too. We went to Disney World in March and I asked them if given a choice whether they would return to Disney or to the Dells and they said the Dells. So who knows, maybe I'll call upon you again some day for a rental.
