Description of the Wisconsin Dells vacation cottage rental
This cottage was built in 2009, using reclaimed barn wood for interior accents and trim. The beams and posts in the living room and kitchen are from century old barns. The sunroom has a working sliding barn door.
There are 2 bathrooms and3 large bedrooms. The master bathroom has a vertical spa shower with 4 body jets.
There is plenty of space for the whole family or several couples. There is a TV for DVD veiwing only, with a variety of DVD's. There are a few board games for your amusement.
Enjoy the songbirds and the sights of wildlife right outside the door. There is an outdoor fire ring to toast your marshmallows!
The Greenbush cottage is a great place to get away from it all and just unwind.

There will be some Barnwood Furniture and Log Furniture, a lot of barn find items I've picked up over the years. Fresh Produce from a local greenhouse.

Many local restaurants.
25 minutes north of Wisconsin Dells.
2 miles from Friendship Lake. Great beach for swimming.
Children's park across the street.
Minutes from Castle Rock Lake and Petenwell Lake the 2nd and 4th largest lakes in Wisconsin great for fishing. Great for walleye, northern, crappie, pan fish. Muskies on Petenwell Lake.
I Know several fishing guides that will take you out for a great day of fishing. Call for info.
Many area flea markets during the summer months.
100s of miles of ATV trails and snowmobile trails.
5 miles from Roche-A-Cri State Park. There are wonderful walking trails there.

Greenbush Cottage spring break getaway
April 7, 2013
This is a very nice 3 bedroom getaway. The bathroom/shower in the master bedroom is multi-head and was a like getting a mini massage each day. The kitchen was beautiful and fully stocked. We enjoyed all of the decorations and the woodwork throughout the house. We had our dogs with us and they felt right at home and there was plenty of places close by to take them for walks. We look forward to our next visit.

Ice Fishing Winter Getaway

Very nice cabin. It's more of a house than a cabin. Very country, cozy feel with everything you need to get a good nights rest and easily prepare great meals and get out and enjoy the outdoors. We had a great weekend even though the fish didn't cooperate. We are already planning another trip next year and we will fish Castle Rock.

Great Time Snowmobiling

We found Carl's Cabin when our plans to snowmobile in the UP changed with more snow in the Dells area than the UP. What a great place! We were able to catch the trails right from the cabin. The decor and the cabin overall were so homey and warm. Wonderful stay!

family get-together close to WI Dells

We rented this cabin near WI Dells in between family in MPLS and MI and got together over Thanksgiving and including going into WI Dells for a day at a waterpark. Very satisfied, very nice place, including accessibility for one child who is in a wheelchair.

What a wonderful place

This rustic cabin and all the decor is over the top! Everything needed was there. Close enough to enjoy the Dells, and far enough away to rest in the quiet woodsy atmosphere. The sunroom makes a perfect game room, while others can visit on the comfy couches, in the dining room, or around a campfire. Everything is clean, the beds are comfortable, and the showers are great. Hope to stay again next year!

The Greenbust Retreat rental house was great. The house itself was very welcoming and homey. We had a group of 8 and everyone slept comfortably. The temperature was in the triple digits when we stayed and the house still remained cool. We met Carl and he seems like a great person. The overall experience at Carl's Cabin was fantastic.

We picked this spot because it was remote enough for relaxing privacy and close enough to the things we wanted to do, like visit the Dells, go fishing and boating, visit parks and just sight see. There were 4 adults and 4 teenagers and everyone had a good time. The cabin and it's surroundings are very relaxing and the decor was right up our alley as much of it was from reclaimed barn wood that made beautiful furniture and decorative pieces. To go along with that were the beautiful quilts! I would certainly recommend this to anyone who wants to escape the hustle and bustle and just get away to relax. If you're lucky and get up early to enjoy sitting on the porch as I did, maybe you'll get to see the two red fox that like to come visit the camp fire area :)

Two red fox!!!! I haven't seen them. For several years now, there has been a doe that usually has two fawns. They check out the firepit area too.

My friends and I wanted to have a nice get away from the stresses of work and school so we decided to go on a trip to Wisconsin. First of all, Carl is AMAZING! He had everything ready for us and is genuinely a nice and cool guy. Everything went so smoothly and we had the time of our lives! The location itself was very peaceful and quiet and at night, it is amazing to look up and see all the stars. The place is very updated, both modern and cozy at the same time. We would definitely stay here again. My friends and I still talk about the trip a year later! We're coming back again soon!

Great Experience at Carl's Cabin

My family just spent 4 nights at the Greenbush Retreat. We were pleasantly surprised at how new and clean the cabin was. Carl had it fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. It was quiet and private. It was fairly close to some large lakes and hiking trails which we took advantage of. Carl met us when we arrived to make sure everything was fine. He was a very pleasant man and made us feel very welcome. We have two dogs and it was difficult to find a place that would allow pets. Carl allowed us to bring our dogs which was so nice, too. We had only four adults, so the cabin was ample and spacious for us. It clearly could hold 8 people comfortably. We highly recommend this cabin. It was a great experience.

Beautiful & Clean

We stayed at this cabin for a weekend getaway w/ two other familes and their kids. We had lots of room. The place is very clean. And had everything you needed. Very close to friendship beach and to resturants. And at night we would sit back and relax and have a fire. Carl was great to work with. Thank you for giving us a great weekend at your place right before the kids had to go back to school. They will always remember the fun they had there. And we hope to stay at the cabin again real soon. The kids are asking when we can go back. So if you are looking for somewhere to stay I highly recommend Carl's cabin.

The Greenbush Retreat is so much more than a cabin. It is a beautiful home built by Carl and his sons. When I arrived, Carl already had a fire burning in the wood stove which made the place even more inviting. The home is beautiful, tastefully decorated and has all the conveniences of home. The location is very private and you feel like you're in the middle of the forest. It was a wonderfully relaxing weekend and we were sorry to leave. We will definitely be returning to Carl's Cabins. Cozy Cabin Couple's Getaway

My husband and I wanted to get away from it all and have a nice quiet weekend in the woods. Carl's cabin was exactly what I hoped it would be and more. All the unique little details like using reclaimed barn doors made it so special. The best part was the wood stove. It was the warmest I've been all winter! Loved that the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. Also, the place was absolutely spotless. Roche-A-Cri state park was only 3 miles away and we went cross country skiing. We will for sure be back. It was the perfect romantic weekend for us! Carl was super friendly and great to deal with!

Great Family place - Quiet and secluded

We had a wonderful relaxing time at the Carl's cabin! Close to activities and things to do. We made last minute booking on this place and were a large group with kids. We used Carl's cabin as our long weekend getaway. This is a beautiful, quiet and secluded area with lots to do nearby including Dells which is a short drive; no disappointments! This is newly built house,nicely furnished by its owner, tastefully decorated. Plenty of room for our families. Its owner Carl obviously takes pride in his home, and is very caring and in ensuring that prospective tenants have all their needs taken care of. Kids had a blast with biking around. Price is very reasonable compared to other properties near Dells. House is located in Friendship town. Phone service may not work some times but that was not an issue for us. Would definitely stay there again.
