Description of the Wisconsin Dells vacation home rental

Need space for your family gathering? Looking for nature? Look no further! The Riverside is located on a beautiful portion of the river ... a quiet channel which encircles an island with much wildlife (eagles, osprey, cranes, etc). Two canoes are available for canoeing around the island or traveling the river down to Point Bluff on Rt. 82 (approx 7 miles). In fact, for the more experienced, you could canoe all the way down to the Wisconsin Dells. If you will be bringing a boat, there are two alternatives. You may put in a smaller boat on the Wisconsin River at the dam below Castle Rock Lake (just 3 minutes north on Z) ... or you may choose to put in your larger boat on Castle Rock Lake at the public launch near Edgewater Marine/ Snug Harbor (approx 6 minutes north).

The Riverside has 7 bedrooms, 2 baths, living room with fireplace, another family room and dining overlooking the Wisconsin River. The large screened-in porch also overlooks the river, with additional seating and eating arrangements. These are great accommodations for a larger group, with the common areas (kitchen, dining) separating the 2 sleeping areas, each with their own bath. Three bedrooms are on the main level and 4 bedrooms on the next level.

There is plenty of land to enjoy your vacation in privacy ... campfire pit, the wooded pines extending along the sides, the shore area down the slope. Enjoy use of the owner's 2 canoes and 2 peddleboats (close to canoe, kayak, and tube rentals). Drive a few minutes to the public launch on the main flow of the Wisconsin River ... or just up the road to Castle Rock Lake (with 14,000 acres, the 4th largest lake in WI). Only 5 minutes to the Castle Rock County Park, with beach, playground and launch. Or take in the Wisconsin Dells experience just 25 minutes south.

Deposits: In order to BOOK your reservation, you must call the Cottage Keeper to receive your unique reservation number. A reservation deposit of 50% of the total base rent is due within 10 days of booking.
Payment Options: Cashier's Check, Money Order, Personal Check
Other Fees: A security deposit is required on all Cottage Keeper Vacation Rentals, equivalent to the nightly prime season rate (or a minimum of $400). We have a 4-night minimum stay during the prime season and a 3-night minimum stay during the value-season. If less, AND accepted by the owner, the short-stay cleaning fee is $150.00.
