Plan to spend your rest & relaxation at Shorewest Cottage, on the western shores of Castle Rock Lake — one of the most desirable locations in our area, within walking distance of the Dirty Turtle Bar, Restaurant and Marina. The unique, elongated design of this tri-level home lends itself to a full view of the breadth of Castle Rock Lake, and plenty of open space for the family or gathering of friends up to 12. Enjoy this 1.5 acre grassy parcel of lakeside splendor for your vacation.

The wide open deck spanning the home offers the perfect place to enjoy your morning cup of coffee watching the sun rise over the lake. Or enjoy this large deck in the evenings with adirondack chairs, built-in bench seating, and grill for entertaining your guests and family. Or gather around your private campfire pit at water’s edge as you listen to the waves gently wash along the shore, or roast marshmallows with the kids, or tell stories about your day on the lake! Shorewest Cottage has its own private pier for your boating pleasure. A ladder from the pier leads down to the sandy bottom of Castle Rock for your daily swim. The full maintained lawn with picnic tables can provide hours of relaxation and lawn game activities.

Shorewest Cottage has the features you’ve been seeking in a vacation home — starting with the open dining room overlooking the lake, with 2 oversize patio doors which lead to the deck. The large walk-thru kitchen offers an island counter, and leads to the cozy lakeside living room with full picture window. Just a few steps up and you reach the sleeping level, which boasts 3 walk-thru bedrooms and 2 full baths. Following your day of activities, lavish yourself in the soaking tub off the master bedroom. A few steps down from the open kitchen will bring you to the open den and bar area. This level can also double as a private sleeping area for four of your guests … with plenty of windows to let the sunshine in, bar area, separate entrance and full bath.

Close to beaches, dining, golfing, boating, trails and attractions. Visit the Necedah Wildlife Refuge (the largest in Wisconsin), Elroy Bike Trail, county festivals and events. Deposits: In order to BOOK your reservation, you must call the Cottage Keeper to receive your unique reservation number. A reservation deposit of 50% of the total base rent is due within 10 days of booking.
Payment Options: Cashier's Check, Money Order, Personal Check
Other Fees: A security deposit is required on all Cottage Keeper Vacation Rentals, equivalent to the nightly prime season rate (or a minimum of $400). We have a 4-night minimum stay during the prime season and a 3-night minimum stay during the value-season. If less, AND accepted by the owner, the short-stay cleaning fee is $150.00. This home is pet-friendly with an additional pet fee of $50/ per pet, per stay plus an additional reimbursable pet security deposit of $100/per pet, per stay. Must be pre-arranged.
