Experience your own piece of “Viking Heaven' right here on Castle Rock Lake! Valhalla offers a unique family vacation on 2.7 acres. A hand-carved troll greets you, as you immediately run over to see what’s beyond the hill, pines and sky. You are awestruck with the immense 10-mile view of the lake. The “troll-bridge' gives access to the sunny raised deck overlooking the lake and leading up to the year round heated porch. Once inside, you are greeted with the beautiful hand-built Scandanavian scrollwork throughout the home!

With vaulted 20’ high ceilings and 25’ of windows, Valhalla offers you views of the lake from every angle. You can enjoy the sunny days and starry nights in the comfort of the 20x33’ great room, and one full “wall' of windows. Bask in the ambiance of the polished pine flooring and open ceiling. The open great room features the dining table, living room and leads to the kitchen with ceramic counters and a breakfast bar overlooking the sunroom.

Valhalla is on an excellent location of Castle Rock — both for the deep waters for fishing (35-40’ depth about 50’ out from the shore) and for the shallow, sandy-bottom swimming along the 400’ of its lakefront. And for your boating pleasure, Valhalla features its own private pier. To complete your outdoor experience, make use of the bench swing, and shoreline campfire pit.

Enjoy the many beaches, lakeside restaurants, fishing and excellent boating on Castle Rock Lake. Bring your bikes, hiking shoes, snowmobiles, and ATVs. Don’t forget your golf clubs, because Valhalla is within walking distance to the Midwest’s only replica golf course! Nearby attractions include the Necedah Wildlife Refuge (the largest in Wisconsin), Elroy Bike Trail, canoeing or kayaking the Wisconsin River, trying your luck at the gaming casinos ... or take a day trip to the Frank Lloyd Wright center & House on the Rock. Deposits: In order to BOOK your reservation, you must call the Cottage Keeper to receive your unique reservation number. A reservation deposit of 50% of the total base rent is due within 10 days of booking.
Payment Options: Cashier's Check, Money Order, Personal Check
Other Fees: A security deposit is required on all Cottage Keeper Vacation Rentals, equivalent to the nightly prime season rate (or a minimum of $400). We have a 4-night minimum stay during the prime season and a 3-night minimum stay during the value-season. If less, AND accepted by the owner, the short-stay cleaning fee is $150.00.
