Just fifteen minutes away from bustling WOODLAND PARK but hidden in a forested setting, PINE LAKE RETREAT comes as a enchanted discovery. Make it your home base for exploring Sedalia, Deckers, Woodland Park, Cripple Creek, Historic Manitou Springs and Historic Old Colorado City (a part of Colorado Springs).

Cripple Creek casinos are a short distance away. We will be happy to provide you tips on enjoying the area attractions.

Settle into quiet relaxation or take off to enjoy the forest, the mountains and the lake, hiking trails, and prolific wildlife.

Have a PICNIC: somehow, food always tastes better outdoors. Whether you're heading to the LAKE, MOUNTAINS, MEADOW or PIKE NATIONAL FOREST, pack up some foods for a fabulous "take-out" meal.

There is a MEDITATION BENCH in the backyard on the border with PIKE NATIONAL FOREST. You can take a book or just enjoy the nature, or watch the stars right above you - they seem to be so close!

Watch beautiful sunsets from your room, enjoy panoramic mountain views, relax on the deck, catch up on some work at the desk and phone if you are on a working vacation.

If you enjoy fishing, the lake is private and no license required. If you enjoy hiking there is PIKE NATIONAL FOREST in our backyard!

You can go cross-country skiing from the doorstep or fish right across the street on the lake or a creek a couple of miles away. In the spring, wildflowers bloom in profusion along the pass you'll probably want to take down to the lake.

Complimentary tea and chocolates by bedside await you.
