Perfect getaway!

The owner was easy to work with and was quick to respond. The cabin was perfect for the two of us and our dog but could easily and comfortably fit another couple. The land was beautiful. We took short hikes on the property each morning with our coffee and dog. We also made a wood fire at night in the fire pit. The barbecue was in good working order and the kitchen had plenty of supplies for us. Owner was prompt to return my security deposit. Trully had a wonderful experience using the site and making the arrangements with the owner. Thank you again!

Seriously... rent this place!

This place was amazing! Everything was so clean! Even the comforters were freshly washed! Streams to hike, hammocks to lay in, fire pit, and cozy living space. This was our second time and we will be back! Plenty to do in then area and within 30 miles!

Very clean and accomodating. I would definitely stay here again. We made a fire one night and it was cozy. We didn't see much wildlife by the cabin. We thought we would have being that it was nestled in the woods away from the street and other homes.

I enjoyed my stay in this lovely, secluded artist's cabin in the woods. I had breakfast every morning near the rolling stream that flows through the property, listened to birds and saw wildlife in the woods (i.e. deer, chipmunks). The cabin was cozy and had all amenities needed. The owners were very helpful. I would recommend this spot to anyone wanting peace, quiet and wanting to commune with nature.

Everything was great. Plenty of space outside, clean and cosy inside. Fully equipped kitchen so we were able to cook nice little meals. 5-10 min drive max to Woodstock. We had a wonderful time and will keep great memory of our few days there.

Warm & Welcoming

The cottage is warm and welcoming with all the comforts and necessities of home. The freshly cut flowers on the table were a special treat. The screened in porch is ideal for relaxing and communing with one another and nature. We enjoyed the seclusion of the property and the opportunity to view some wildlife right out the windows. The owners were very responsive and even lent us their membership pass for entry to the Opus 40. I will refer this cottage to family and friends.

Amazing little cottage!

We had a wonderful time in Woodstock. The one reason that we feel is most accountable for our good time was our accomodations. The cottage was wonderful. We spent as much time admiring the "Art Work" in the cottage as we did the surroundings of the property and other excursions. Whenever we return to Woodstock we will be sure to see if this cottage is still being rented.

We spent an unforgettable week in this Woodstock cabin in Overlook Mountain. Spacious, scented with the cedar walls of part of the house, it has all the conveniences you could want and is only a few minutes from town down quiet country roads. We were sad to leave.

We had a very romantic weekend at the cottage. Really enjoyed the private location and walking in the woods. Everything was very comfortable and we really enjoyed a big log fire each night. The art work in the cottage was lovely, so varied and interesting. Kitchen was well equipped and easy to use. Really enjoyed all the interesting sights in the village - spent way too much in all the stores! Would love to return for another weekend. Owners were very pleasant to work with - thanks!
