Our modern post and beam farmhouse just outside Woodstock, NY, is the perfect retreat from NYC. Fully and lovingly furnished with all amenities, spacious and loft-like with beautiful beams, sun-filled, every day is a beautiful one from the vantage point of our home. There are generous porches and decks with mountain and meadow views, and plenty of rockers and lounge chairs for enjoying the view or stargazing. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths, plus a finished attic, full basement with laundry and music room with grand piano. Fully equipped kitchen, wood burning stove and baseboard heat. Home phone (no cell service), digital cable, high speed internet, and all other utilities included. No smoking, no pets. $3,500/month, plus one month security, credit check and references required. Available from mid-March 2009 through mid-October 2009.

Convenient to all area outdoor activities (hiking, biking, kayaking, swimming, tubing, skiing), plus an abundance of musical and concert events, art galleries, great restaurants, wonderful farmers' markets, and spiritual centers, including Karma Triyana Darmachakra Monastery (5 mins), Zen Mountain Monastery (15 mins) and Omega Institute (45 mins). 5 minutes to village center, 1 hour 45 minutes to NYC by car, or take the bus.
