Description of the Wrightsville Beach vacation home rental

Enjoy the sunrise over the ocean on the east side porch
and fabulous sunset from the channel side porch. Enjoy a
picnic on the shared pier, a meal around the kitchen bar
or full meal in the formal dining room. A cozy den for
watching cable TV or your favorite DVD/VHS. Two bedrooms
face the ocean & two face the sound. We are not your typical cookie cutter beach home.You can enjoy this
in a home with antique furniture and modern amenities.
Now is the time to schedule fall family outings, Thanksgiving or Christmas at the beach making family
memories.
We are in walking distances to ice cream shop, beach shopping, hot dog shop & several excellent restaurants.

We will not rent to SORORITIES,FATERNITIES,WEDDING "HOUSE PARTIES",SPRING BREAK PARTIES or other such parties unless submiitied to us in writing and pre-approved.There may be a substantiel rate increase if more renters than specified and a larger security depost required.

Wrightsville Beach is known as the family beach. Just a few miles long, you are in walking distance to all activities.
You are minutes away from Historic Port City of Wilmington,
that caters to the history buff & the shopper. The USS
NC Battleship calls the young & young at heart. Numerous
museums, shops & restaurants. The golfer will have to come
back many times to be able to play the courses in the area.
A short boat ride will bring you to Masonboro Island (no houses,no shops, no cars/trucks, just sand, ocean & sun.)
Wrightsville Beach area has all that you would expect.
Boating, kayaking the small streams or enjoying a play
at the Thalian Hall Center for the Performing arts (still
operating since being built approx. 1857) Wrightsville area
has just about anything you want, come and enjoy.

 Best House on Wrightsville Beach, May 18, 2009

If you want to see the most unobstruted sunrise and sunset, in the most comfortable setting, you must stay at Rick and Mimi's. This was not a beach rental. It was like staying at Grandma's house on the beach. Its the only brick house on the six mile island with lots of history. Its almost like a New England house in North Carolina. Rick and Mimi, the owners, made theirselves ready available for anything that we needed. They advised us on local tours (Duplin Winery a must) as well as things to do. Kitchen very user friendly. Four bedrooms on the second floor enabled those who wished to stay up later, not to disturb those who wished to retire early. If you have a son or daughter graduating from UNCW, stay with these folks! Book early. Wine and cheese with Mimi on the pier on Thursday nights watching the sunset. My new Bride and I stayed at property 36423 at Wrightsville Beach, N.C. We had a very good time and the house was everything it said it was. It was in a Great location with lots of things nearby. We look forward to being able to stay there again in warmer weather. TOM & JENNIFER
