This cottage has recently been renovated, with hardwood floors in living room, dining room & first floor bedrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped. Linens and towels are provided. (However, if you use them, you are responsible for laundering them.) There is an enclosed outdoor hot water shower, perfect for sandy children after the beach. And speaking of the beach, there are beach chairs, sand toys and umbrella in the garage, and beach bag and towels in the linen closet.
The 2 bedrooms on the main floor have queen beds, window AC's, and ceiling fans. The master has a large bay window, and a wall mounted flat screen TV. The third bonus room downstairs has two twin beds, and a bunk bed with a double bed base. and a 46 inch LED flat screen TV. Perfect for the kids! There is also a Pack N Play and 2 strollers for the little ones.
The downstairs bathroom, (with a shower and built in seat), is over sized to accommodate the washer and dryer.
The Living room has a fireplace with wood stove insert ( winter rentals only), 42 inch LCD TV / with Cable & DVD Player, ceiling fan and furniture you can put your feet up upon and relax, WiFi is also available. ( WIFI is NOT available and cable is LIMITED from Nov 30th to March 30th.) The full wall of sliding doors in the dining room and living room leads to the deck (new for spring 2014) & overlooks the salt water lake. A perfect setting for a cup of coffee or a glass of wine while watching tranquil sunrises and beautiful evening sunsets.
Sheets and towels are available if you chose not to bring your own, however, you are responsible for laundering them. They may also be rented locally. (Please let me know and I will provide you with contact info before you arrive.)
There is a circular driveway in front of house for parking and easy access. Additional parking is in the rear of house, which is on a cul-de-sac. If you walk out the back, you are 6-7 houses from a small neighborhood beach, just the right size for small children who can't take a full day at the beach.
No smoking, no pets.
This home is not rented to anyone under the age of 25.
This home is convenient to Patriot Square Shopping Plaza with Dunkin Donuts, Stop and Shop, and a 12 theater cinema, about 2 miles away on Rte 134. Across the street from Patriot Square is Ring Brothers Market, which offers a good wine selection, as well as a seafood market. If you prefer local flavor, try Peterson's Market on historic 6A, about 1 mile away, for prepared foods, (wonderful chicken salad, and Captain Parker's clam chowder) beer and wine. Nearby restaurants include Captain Frosty’s, (award winning fried clams, and excellent frappes,) Oliver’s, and Sesuit Harbor Café, home of absolutely amazing lobster rolls and the Sesuit Harbor Lobster Roll Cruise.
If you would like to bring your boat or kayak, you can park your trailer in the back. There are two public boat launchings 1/2 mile away.
Cape Cod bike paths on Setucket Rd will take you to Dennis Parks, Golf courses & Tennis courts. You can also cycle the Cape Cod Rail Trail, which follows follows a former railroad 22 miles through the towns of Dennis, Harwich, Brewster, Orleans, Eastham and Wellfleet. The trail is paved with well-marked automobile crossings and few hills. The Dennis Highland golf course is 1 mile away and Dennis Pines is 2.5 miles away, John Kelly Recreation Center is 1.5 miles away with tennis court, baseball fields, a jogging course and a playground.
If you enjoy deep sea fishing,Yarmouth Port resident Capt. Dave Eaton, who operates Team Intruder Deep Sea Fishing, lives next door. You can book your trip ahead of time.

We loved this rental it had everything we needed and then some. The only down fall was also a plus... it is on a elevated street and the parking on the hills seemed to take a bit of a toll on the vehicles. Beautiful home, wonderful owner and there is nothing I can complain about. We are happy with our visit and hope to return.

The house is big, was very clean, and equipped with all you may need. The owner was happy to provide useful tips about things to do in the area. A place we will come back to!
