The property is situated between two beaches, Long Sands and Short Sands Beach, five minutes drive to sandy beaches.

York county was founded in 1636 with several New England architectural communities within driving, biking, walking and jogging distance. The summer resort towns of Kennebunk and Kennebunkport is 17 to 25 miles north of the Town of Wells and to the south of York is the artistic colony of Ogunquit. The brand-name outlet shops are located in Kittery or Freeport, with their fabulous side walk sales. In this beautiful southern seacoast village the fresh catch of the day served by local vendors and restaurants is a tantalizing mouth watering experience that keeps the tourist coming back year after year.

2 Nearby Beaches, Long Sands Beach (a 10 minutes walk from our location). Long Sands beach runs parallel to Coastal Route 1A and is approximately 2 miles long. Short Sands Beach is a mile further north of Long Sands on Coastal Route 1A.


Short Sands Beach, has a higher sand bar and it is the perfect getaway for sunbathers at high tide.

Spectacular view and location. House was great. It would be nice if a queen/king size bed was added to the 3rd bedroom vs. pull out sofa.
