This privately owned 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom Guest Rental, located on the North Shore of Millerton Lake, is close to Yosemite National Parks South Entrance. The Guest Rental is part of a privately owned 5 acre Estate with a view of the lake from every window. It will comfortably sleep 6-8 guests.

Sleeping Accommodations are:

Master bedroom with California King bed - sleeps 2

2nd bedroom with double bed - sleeps 2

Pull-out futon in living room - sleeps 2

Detached 3rd bedroom bunkhouse, with private entrance, off main sun deck, with set of bunk beds - sleeps 2 singles.

Fully set-up kitchen. Massive natural quartz stone fireplace in the living room. Central air conditioning/heating. Large wrap around decks plus a huge sun deck with large gas BBQ!

Play on the lake all day today and then visit Yosemite tomorrow, the rental is only 45 minutes away!

Yosemite National Park - one of the first wilderness parks in the United States, is best known for its waterfalls, but within its nearly 1,200 square miles, you can find deep valleys, grand meadows, ancient giant sequoias, a vast wilderness area, and much more. Only 45 minutes away!

Millerton Lake Recreational Park - With over 40 miles of shore land for water sports, the lake offers swimming, fishing, boating and every water sport imaginable. The hills surrounding the lake provide good hiking opportunities. Wildlife includes ground squirrels, cottontails, mule deer, badgers and bald and golden eagles, bobcats, mountain lions, coyotes, foxes, raccoons, skunks and opossums. During winter, the park has special boat tours to view the largest population of visiting bald eagles in the San Joaquin Valley.

Millerton Lake Caves System - The cave system at Millerton Lake is the world's most notable example of a corrasional cave (i.e., scoured out by abrasive material, rather than dissolved) formed in granite. Almost a mile long, it has been sculpted over thousands of years by an active creek that runs year-round. Caves in granite are far less common than those formed in limestone or marble, and typically are just passages among boulder piles. The Caves are noted for their well-developed speleogens such as sculpted blades, flutes, pendants, and potholes in bedrock. Besides its scientific value, the caves offer unique recreational opportunities.
